Any comparisons to pirating games (buy the games if you want to support the games), vs pirating tx's cfw (buy it if you want to support it):
It's a little different because Nintendo/games companies will make loads, piraters are in the minority, it won't make a big impact.
But people pirating tx sx os, it will be loads I guess, and will probably make an impact.
(Just throwing an idea out there, some guy already here said one site has 4k orders, crazy if true, tx is (deservedly) making lots of money I hope)

Once ninty release their new switch with revised hardware and have this previous model phased out, you have nothing to worry about.

In theory, it can be used to generate a license.dat file that will be compatible with a properly patched boot.dat.

Yeah, so that part is done, we just have to wait for them to finish patching the boot.dat and probably the payload.bin

OG xbox had free hacks. Ps1 had free hacks. Ps2 had free hacks before 2010. Heck, 360 even had some free hacks.

i am waiting for this because my license is inside the sx pro box waiting to be shipped god-knows-when. so while i do support it, i dont want to buy an extra license due to problems in logistics..

Anyway even if they crack it today, there might be antipiracy in the SX OS that brisk or switch, so I don't think we'll get it working safely for quite some time yet.

So don't worry and enjoy your buy meanwhile .
