Could an alternative way of going straight to a selected game be implemented? Maybe if a .txt with the directory of the rom available next to the nro or something like that. That way we could edit the .nro with the games cover and jump straight to that game from the hbmenu.
I think it would very wasteful to make a copy of the nro file for each game. Updating would be a chore. Only once/if shortcuts are added to the hbmenu this would be possible with a clean solution.

Otherwise, I have put remembering which folder was selected the last time, which would already be much more comfortable, onto our todo list.

Yeah. Thought about it after posting it. It would be a chore also having a different .nro for each game. Your solution seems perfect. Thanks for everything.

I hadn't updated to the latest build in a while due to me being stubborn and being comfortable with what works. I decided to update and the UI and other improvements are wonderful, I just have a quick question.

Where's the setting in the files for changing the FF speed? It seems like it went up tenfold since the version I had and I'd gotten used to ZL although that's an afterthought, I'd primarily like to change the speed back and then mess with the controls if needed.

Thanks in advance. :P

Just noticed that cheat support was merged in recently which in and of itself is a pretty huge and exciting event! Thank you to the DEV’s! Would someone mind compiling the latest master?

VBA-next switch is a port of the Game Boy Advance emulator VBA-M for Switch. It's based off the libretro version of VBA-M(VBA-next) but is completely detached from libretro.

Because it's based of VBA-M the compability is very high and almost all games run at fullspeed.

Old post:
A quick port of VBA-next(VBA-M https://github.com/libretro/vba-next). I developed it on 4.1 so, it definitely works on this version. It's partly based of 3DSGBA https://github.com/shinyquagsire23/3DSGBA.

I tested it with only a few games, but as far as I can tell they run great, except the menu of Fire Embled The Sacred Stones, were the music in the start menu has small hiccups. Works now perfectly for me

how do you install this im on 5.1.0

There's a gambatte libretro core floating around. I don't know it's compatibilities yet. I played a bit of Pokémon Gold last night.
Doesn't work with a lot of games such as the Zelda oracle series unfortunately. Khedgb is the best bet for GBC compatibility despite it's random crashes :/

FUCK those are the games im trying to convert. WTF off all odds.
Yeah lol, I spent a couple hours trying to get just the Oracle games specifically to run on VBAnext with the converter to .gba but they were literally the only two that wouldn't work afterwards, Link's awakening DX did for whatever reason.

I used Goomba to convert both oracle games and link's awakening to .gba and they all work just fine with this emulator

I can also confirm that the orcale games would not work for me after converting using goomba

DX works and Pokemon Gold works though

Donkey Kong works well (converted with goomba), with SGB graphics.

This emulator are fantastic! I'm playing mother 3 and Metroid Fusion in my switch, a dream! And the IU is awesome.

But I found a little problems:

- The sound in dock mode
- The screen of the UI in dock mode.

And one question:

- It's possible to launch using gba bios?

Thanks! And sorry for my bad english

About the sound @catlover007 might take a look at it because he's the one that knows more :)

About the UI for docked mode, there's nothing planned yet (will take time as it requires a lot of testing and little but many code changes and refactoring in some way), play in handled mode for now!
