Retroarch A button problem GB/GBC games

Edit: Solved!
I tried to add a hotkey in the input tab and a button or button zero was my choice to get fast forward and rewind going.
Moved to r3. Click right stick.
Strange side effect IMO

Retroarch forums wants me to wait... I could not post there yet.
So in Retroarch for Legend of Zelda Links awakening and DX version - Oracle of Ages/Seasons - Metroid 2

The emulators mGBA, Vba-m/Gambatte, DoubleCherryGB, Gearboy, Sameboy, TGB dual and mesen all have this problem on the Nintendo Switch on retroarch 1.9.14 - no core.

The A button does not hold properly. Its holding my position and link can not move. But the shield does not stay up and the sword does not charge up. The yoshi from the trendy game is inaccessible.
Samus can not reach the height of her jumps.
Turbo works. But thats not what i need.

The mGBA from the HB app store works.
So i guess this is an input driver issue in retroarch?
