"nothing" is exactly what you get when the switch is in RCM mode... did you even try plugging a usb cable in ?
By "nothing" I mean, I literally get nothing. When it goes into RCM mode, in my device drivers I should see it connected as an ADX device, also having Tegrasmash queued up, its looking for it. So I tried putting my other switch in RCM mode to make sure it wasn't me, its definitely not.

Maybe you let your battery fully drain by being in non-sleep "sleep" mode and now you have no way of charging it externally.

I can charge it just fine, theres nothing wrong with the switch charger, I checked the cord as well on my other switch (doing a vid now to show everyone my experience) and its working fine and going to the bootloader fine. It was at 92%, it was only a 25-30 minute timeframe I let it sleep for... however maybe I need to just let it keep draining...

So I did some investigating to see how much more it was my fault. Digging Deeper, it was definitely not picking up the adx mode for that switch for some reason, ran the exploit from a different machine, and poof, works

Just so you know AT NO POINT DO I BLAME THE DEV... this was definitely a PEBKAC issue.... or a PEBSAC issue lol

You know what I think would be abso-f*cking-lutely amazing...
Atmosphere releases before TX's "modchip dongle", and it causes an outcry of order cancellations!
Not only would that ruin TX's whole payment and licensing strat, but it would also make Atmosphere and Team ReSwitched the so-called "hero" in the CFW market.
It will be difficult to have the money back claiming it one month after paying...

The right joycon doesn't work attached while using briccmii and hekate ctcaer mod 1.5 to run homebrew.
Switch games working, to use both joycon together need to detached, right joycon just charge attached using switch battery.
Thats normal using permanent rcm or there's something wrong?

Not related to RCM. Switch Joycons should work perfectly fine when attached. Perhaps it was some damage caused by shorting other pins previously using a jig or soldering/foil?

im not sure if i am keen on Soft bricking my switch. what if i actually need to access the album or something? Bricking is something id never intentionally do to a console
You can access the album by running the hekate and selecting OFW rather than CFW (Only issue for now however is that there is still the sleep issue for both)

so this is something similar to Cold boot haxchi on the wii u but less of a chance to actually brick?
There is a far less chance to brick. (Even if you were to wipe out your nand and boot0/1 and not have a backup, it would still be possible to (for example boot into Linux - but not the switchOS - unless in the future its possible to use any image as the OS).
The auto"bricker" merely corrupts part of the boot so that the switch automatically enters RCM mode. (This makes it so much more convenient than risking damage via the foil method or having to take outjoycon and place a jig with key combo's

I would recommend that you make a back up of boot0/boot1 and the full nand before this, just incase.

If your RCM jig pins is not touching pin 10 and a ground source (and you are not holding volume+ and power), then it will simply boot to the switch horizon OS

the autobricker only requires you to do the above once, then from every reboot or power on, you would just need to connect it to your mobile phone or PC and run something such as tegrasmashgui to run the CFW/OFW selector.

You can revert back to normal after if you wish by running the autobricker program again and restoring. (I would advise not mixing different autobricking programs, e.g use one for "bricking" and a different one for unbricking as they may use different destinations to corrupt and not fix all of them later

Horizon OS is what you see when you turn on the switch, it is the Switch's operating system.
With xecuters exploit, true, you do not need a phone or pc anymore. But you DO need the dongle on every reboot (as of now) or to connect it to a pc or mobile as before., There are also some people working on a dongle solution as well

so your exploit and xecuters could theoretically work together?

Team Xecuter have confirmed that their dongle can run other payloads as well and is not fixed to just their exploit so it can come in useful.

Also you can run their CFW via using your mobile phone or PC program such as tegrasmash (which they also initially confirmed) - So the dongle is not required, but can come in useful

Bear in mind that once you run the bricker, you will need either the dongle, a mobile phone or pc handy if you reboot (otherwise you will just get a black screen)

Time will tell. Maybe in the future it may be possible to directly boot to CFW without anything but that can be some time for that to be a possibility. At the current moment, A usb connection to a PC, mobile or dongle is required to send the payload to the switch
