I'm a bit too lazy to go to the homebrew channel all the time and press some more buttons, but I heard somewhere that 3.0 gx doesn't support these anymore. So is there a user-made wad for the USB loader gx that is safe?
Wait, there were no question here!@Cyan I am also asking this..
when the day comes and i decide to get the wii from storage and revive it, i will switch to usb loader gx, i am curious about it
i meant, i was also asking the OP question about a fowarder, because i also would like to install it as a fowarderWait, there were no question here!
i actually used both lol, mostly CFG usb loader mod, i somewhat moved into wiiflow but i didn't liked it as much and got confused by the keys it used or the sources thingYou used another one (CFG or wiiflow?).
altough the cfg and wiiflow are solid choices, no more updates doesn't mean they don't work, i dunno, seen that usb loader gx is still being maintained and updated i am thinking going for it, feel more confortable, probably has more functions by now, no?USBGX has the same features (with bugs I added myself into haha) but has a more natural graphical interface (based on the wii main theme).

I don't have time to work on it as often as before, but there are still some features and fixes now and then.
the last addition (still beta) is support for WiiU gamepad while inside the loader, this is useful for people who use USBGX as nintendont interface. USB is not working and it can't reload another IOS, so no way to play wii games with gamepad, but nintendont has gamepad support too so it's a better interface than injecting gamecube games one by one in WiiU channels.
I think the only missing feature compared to the two other loaders is the SD support for Wii games.
It has been requested a lot, but I didn't have time to do it yet.
Switch between emulators? you mean the plugin system like wiiflow?
a dev did a modded version of the loader to add wiiflow plugin sources, but it's a mod and not available in the latest loader's revision.
As for new cover option/layout mode, I don't know. I never did one myself, it was done by previous devs. Which idea do you have?
you can find it on the first post of the main thread.
I added a link to common modded version (tabmod, plugin mod)
I don't provide support for plugin mod as I never tried it and don't know what you need. you will have to search in the thread to get info from Fledge.
It might sound off topic, but there are no text at the game loading screen(the play game button and maybe the other is settings?) Is it because I have a Korean wii? I tried several times but the text never seemed to show.you can find it on the first post of the main thread.

My idea for the future (if I have time/will to work on it) is to :
1. complete the gamecube part. Even if it seems complete, there are missing elements.
2. release v3.1
3. revamp the interface (use 16:9 for most menus, change some menu's names, use proper information instead of small warning prompt users don't understand, etc.)
4. add tab mod officially
5. add plugin mod officially
6. release v4.0 finale
That's only on an ideal world. I'm sure I'll do at least step2. I hope to do step3.
