Update 4: I've been able to find out why savedatas won't work. That only happens if your console already has a save on your nand, since it'll fail to load it.
Regarding the other titles, it might just be the tiks, not sure if that is true, since I extracted the tik from my BOTW disc and set it into a digital copy of the game and it still didn't load. The odd thing is that Mario party's & New Super Mario U tiks are from the WIIU USB helper provider and they worked. Mario 3d land stoped working in the momment I also gave it the tik from my original disc game.
If anyone's got anything else, it'd be apreciated if you shared it.

Hi, I have an issue with Mochacfw 2.0 downloaded from github . When I quit a software/game, it doesn't go back to system menu (rednand).
I see the wiiu icon and I can hear the sound, It looks like its in a loop.
I believe that the solution reside in mochacfw menu but when I hold B, it starts vWii instead of mochacfw menu.
Anyone can help me with this?

i have a 128gb sd card for my wiiu but not a HDD. my setup is haxchi (no cbhc) from wiiu.guide tutorial
so far ive tried installing games to nand without problem but nand being 32gb theres only so much that i can install.

my question is how can I install games to my 128gb sd card? my understanding is that wup installer can only install to USB fat32 not SDCard fat32?

im sorry if this question has been answered before

Have you got a SD to USB adapter ? You can basically fool the Wii U like that ^^ Or else, you can still try "USB" because that's uncertain to some points.

I was thinking about that as well earlier but as far as I know the only way to install a game is from a SDcard to NAND OR SDcard to USB drive. Given that I only have the single 128gb card that isnt an option.

Was thinking about utilizing the 128gb on the sd card for games installation instead of having HDD tangled to my setup.

Might have an idea but not sure. Try with the FAT32 edition of Mocha here http://wiiubru.com/app/mocha_fat32 and try to install it on NAND.
Because if you use an SD to USB adapter, the Wii U will find the SD card, and will ask to format it to a Wii U formatted drive.

@dimok does mocha Spoof the firmware to 99.99.99 like haxchi does??
No it doesn't, the only version that shows the 99.99.99 is booting up cbhc into system menu/CFW in the cbhc menu, then going into system settings. Using mocha on its own or loading it with cbhc shows the actual version number. If you say for example loaded cbhc then booted into rednand or any other separate fw.img it shows the original firmware all the time.

Thanks I knew that but some idiot in another thread is saying mocha does do that and they are saying I am retarded for telling g them it never done that I even gave video proof but they are still saying g I am wrong lol. I just wanted the maker of mocha to confirm so as to shut up that idiot see here if you want a laugh and feel free to tell them I am right thanks https://gbatemp.net/threads/spoofing-a-wii-u-from-5-5-1-to-5-5-2.477781/page-9#post-7455448

See my edited post above for more info
I see, the arguments got a bit out of hand. The only thing I got mixed up with was that I do remember in the early days of being on version 5.3.2 you could not go online gaming unless you spoofed to version 5.4.0 but if I knew it was ok online play on v5.5.1 I probably would of not bothered spoofing it I just did it out of habit. I do think now it is pointless spoofing to v5.5.2, everyone on v5.5.1 might as well stay put because even if they do spoof it, it doesn't stop it from fully updating to v5.5.2, if you forget about the dns servers.

Honestly, having a HDD in your setup is preferable to an SD only setup. I personally have a 4TB WD My Passport (a very nice one at that, and although I acknowledge not everyone can afford a nice one, any HDD will provide better load times than an SD card), and my games run off of that smooth as silk, compared to my 64GB Sandisk Ultra, which had some (not a lot, but some) lag and noticeably longer load times. I am not here to troll or bash anyone using SD only, you do what you gotta do, but if you can spare just a little cash on a HDD to store all your games on while running RedNAND off of your SD card, I 100% recommend doing that.

PS: I didn't really touch on this, but if you're planning to install games and whatnot, please use RedNAND. Please, for the love of mary, use RedNAND. I know I don't speak for everyone when I say this, but I speak for a majority when I say: we all make stupid decisions, and one press of a button can lead to a $300 paperweight. If you need some help installing RedNAND, please refer to the sticky post NOOB Guide to Wii U hacking, it's very informative on RedNAND installation.

Got a new external hdd and it works fine until I boot mocha with rednand. After a few seconds it says "please do not connect or disconnect device while system is on" then restarts and does it again. If plug in the external while in data management, it'll give me that notification but won't reboot into mocha so it's fine until I leave data management. Can anyone help direct me to how to fix this? Other than this external, ive only got a 16g flash drive which isn't enoughh to hold botw and all it's updates and dlc. Having it on the nand worked but I had to reinstall the dlc every day. So a fix for either problem would be appreciated but I would like to not have the money I spent on the external wasted.
