May I suggest you to do 2 releases of this patch if possible? The current one, that is based on the Western release of the game, and a more faithfull one, with stuff like, Free Field instead of Open Field, and Braver, instead of Vanguard, etc...

I have asked Jam if he will periodically update in this thread.
Long story short: he's working on it and slowly making progress.

@padoca85: that will never happen, because it would just be a bad localization and the time and effort required would be humongous.
The game's word count ranges probably in the several millions, my own terminology list (so I can remember what I'm doing) has its own sub-lists.

Great to know you guys are still working on it. I hope you guys can crush them bugs like space marines crushing tyranids.

I meant a few key terms ofc, not asking to retranslate the entire game.

I think what Weyu was trying to say was that even if he wanted to make another version of the patch he would have to go through the entire text again and change every Vanguard to Braver and every Open Field to Free Field.

Breaking several text boxes in the process, at the very least. Even then, I doubt that the script exist as a single file.

Any reason for that? Doesn't sound as bad as Wizard for Force or Healing Drink for Monomate.

inb4 PlayPark picks up the english patch.

For the most part I know the infinity storyline, but my gosh it will be lovely to read it all in english.
I guess I will replay the series while I wait.

Hey PSP2I Team! I just wanted to drop by and give you all some more support.
I've been watching this thread faithfully for years. I loved PSP and PSP2 but never played PSP2I because I'm wait for this translation. I love the level of work you guys put into this project and will patiently wait until its done.

Hey,

Jam is still working on the tech fixes. It's unfortunate that it's taking a lot of time, it's just a very complex issue that can't be solved easily since he's reverse-engineering everything by himself.
I will pray for his success tonight.

Are sure he's still active?
Because according to a comment on sol trigger project the lead hacker (is the same person right?) is disappeared when he supposed to release the patch...

I think he just doesn't post much. Whatever the case, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.
He messaged me the below message a while ago. I'll see if I can contact him, but even if he doesn't respond right away he might just be busy or taking a break.

I normally like to update when I feel that I've accomplised something but I probably should be updating more often
