@Dodain47 Would you consider revising what is deemed playable in the wiki, or at least introduce a new category such as "very playable"? I think that playable should mean that a game runs at full speed, has no graphics glitches and has perfect audio. At the moment I think the playable category is too lenient, as it currently includes games that have graphics glitches, screen tearing, audio with noise and stuttering. I would consider games with these problems to be "working", but not necessarily playable. What do you think?

Hm. Yes I agree. Working would be a more appropiate definition for games that are barely playable. I will change the Categorie Playable - Game works very well, with little to no glitches to Very Playable - Full Speed, Perfect Audio, No Glitches.

I think that means you need a gba bios. Not sure though.

Good News. Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission are working in the latest Version. Both Games run Full Speed. It takes about 5 Minutes to pass one very slow Scene during the Intro in Metroid Fusion. After that the Game runs Full Speed. I defeated the First Boss in both Games. There is a 1 Second long loading time between the Rooms. Curently no Audio with much Noise. If you listen closely you can hear faint Audiosounds already.

I was going to try to improve gbaemu4ds, but ichfly's code is basically unreadable. it's not even indented right. The comments are in broken English...
So I gave up.

Thank you for making this. It already seems better than gbaemu4ds and I have an idea of what the code does just from looking at it for 10 minutes.

Yea, ichfly's code is a complete mess indeed. (Although my code could probably use some comments too) It would be nice if you could help me improving. If you have questions about the code, just ask me. Also, I can give you the arm assembly highlighter plugin I wrote for visual studio if you like.

Thanks AtlasFontaine, just tried it on a 3DSXL with Castlevania Aria of Sorrow using the master branch. The game runs at a decent speed but the audio is slightly distorted and there are graphical pop ins at the right and bottom sides of the screen. Still though, it's amazing to be able to play GBA games on a 3DS at all.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I also tried Dragonball Z The Legacy of Goku 2 but it never got past the Gameboy Advance boot screen.

You realize we have like 3 ways to play GBA full speed on the 3DS right?

Not yet, I'll work on that soon again. There are always so many things I want to do, and I don't have infinite time (if only I had xD)

I'm currently experimenting with my is-nitro and I'm documenting the USB packets you can send to it. I'm also working on a visual studio debugging plugin.

Me too, but don't worry you could use a VirtualMachine or Bootcamp (bcs Windows 10 is free!)
I use a virtual machine for .NET Framework, Devkitpro and PALib (to make DS Homebrew)!

1) This is a hypervisor. It's running in DS mode.
2) AGB_FIRM reboots the 3DS into a mode as a GBA. No emulation. Someone discovered that the 3DS has an ARM7 in it.

Why do you need a virtual machine? There is a working Mac version of devkitpro. I had to edit a script to get it to work on 10.10+ though, but I forgot how. I think it was replacing the "if uname Darwin" line with if true.

I do. You can do that on a Mac With devkitpro for Mac.....
