Ok not spam or anything. The NFO from the VENOM REPACKS reads as if you could install game and update all in one once you extracted everything. This sounds like really clean way to go. I guess i'll fortify my savegame and reinstall everything from scratch with the REPACK.

Why? The leaked early version of the game and NUS version are like for like. The disc probably isn't going to be any different, just the update file which I'm going to check when I get home (wishing i stuck the crc's on paste bin). Can we link the crc's here or is that also against the rules?

Ok i found it now. The standalone-update release is called "The_Legend_of_Zelda_Breath_of_the_Wild_UPDATE_v1.0.0_READNFO_EUR_WiiU-VENOM".

I'm still asking myself if the VENOM released game is in any way "better" than the version everyone had before from the servers. If both gamedata from disc and from NUS are identical then it's still a tidy way to go with NUS-game and VENOM-update.

As naddel81 discussed earlier the update was also leaked on shortly available on NUS (earlier this year?) This makes it very likely that the disc-version now has been altered and is therefore a "newer" version of the update.

it might have been leaked but we didn't get it, only the shitty unsigned repack.

And this proper update has the exact same contents. The data in the TMD is identical.

There wasn't a problem extracting game files, just the update. The update is in another (uncommon) partition on the disc.

No better, no worse. Could be faster to download with NNTP though if you have that access.

No, because i'm still at work. But the install instructions in the VENOM NFO has no mention of cfw, sig patcher or anything else.

The game seems to be trying to install a small update on my Wii U today but keeps kicking up the error 105-3106.

Download manager says its a 156mb update.
