I never said it comes up in vwii try reading what i said properly... the simple solution is to make a "usr" folder on the usb and copy all of your loadiine and homebrew files over, it will remove the popup nag and everything will be read from the same usb drive after mocha has loaded.

Sorry my main language is the french. Yes i have make a folder usr , mocha have removed the pop up. It has a way to remove this pop up also on the original sysnand? Because I have not installed coolboot i have only haxchi.

I have testing some games on the HDD with Loadiine and is work. But like smash bros, mario kart 8 .. is not ever start with loadiine I waited until 10 minutes and still nothing..

So if i'm reading this correctly, I have a HDD formatted already for wii u. I been using it for months with games insteallded already. Now the HDD has a folder called "USR" on it. If i use a program like FTPIIU everywhere to copy my sd card contents that is already set up for homebrew Including loadiine, does that mean when i use the mocha cfw UBS loading that i can use my HDD with loadiine without having to reformat the HDD to fat 32? I just wanna know for my NDS rom injections i use with loadiine.

I already told you before but copying games manually to the HDD only works for games that is already installed to a wii u formatted drive, without the tickets the wii u will refuse to boot them. having that said tho if you were to do the reverse and copy sd card homebrew and apps into the wii u formatted drive then that will not work, mocha only redirects SD to USB if "usr" is detected on a fat32 drive.

At first I was looking at Haxchi and then using CHBC to autoboot with patches. Then I read about the brick when the CHBC game would be removed. As I got a little kid growing up, just two years old, that is a risk I do not want to take.

So now I am looking into Haxchi combined with Mocha for patches, region free games playing etc. Because when accidently the Haxchi game would be deleted, WiiU will not be bricked. So got some questions about Mocha CFW.

As far as I read, correct me if I am wrong, Haxchi can autoboot Mocha CFW (Sysnand)? If the Haxchi game would be removed accidently, what would happen?

If I read it wrong and Hatchi can't autoboot Mocha, whats the most simple method to run Mocha. A redirect icon on the WiiU menu that is pressed, after that games can be run from external HDD?

Any other things I am missing?

Haxchi is a cfw in itself, as well as mocha. It will boot into a patched system nand so you can play anything you like. There's no danger just deleting the haxchi game. It can at the minute just be re downloaded from eshop if it's deleted.

Alright, thanks Columbo. Not using CHBC the only difference is I gotta run the Haxchi game each time after I boot the WiiU to have all homebrew and other functionality?

What are the reasons then to run Mocha on top of Haxchi, anything else than Rednand booting with Mocha?

Its completely up to you what you use. If your just installing legit ticket games you don't need any patches it will run those games from cold booting the system. Patches are needed for eshop and virtual console games. Just need to run hbl to install the games. Mocha has just implemented running from a fat32 hdd for all of wiiu so that's kinda exciting to see where it goes. Both have there own purpose, but both are similar. I'm using both for different things.

Great. Thanks for the info. Will go just with Haxchi and might install Mocha for FAT32 support although reading speeds are slow at the moment what I read about it.

At least no accidental CHBC removal and WiiU brick possibility that way. I trust myself with it but can't expect a young kid to always remember that.

All you have to do is update mocha with the compiled build i posted a few pages back and manually copy your games to USB:/usr/title/00050000/ and mocha will automatically detect them and it will show up on the wii u menu, otherwise mocha will allow loadiine to read the USB drive instead of SD by default but note that all of your wiiu/apps files will have to be put on the usb drive as well.

So like i have said with loadiine some game work but like smash bros , mario kart 8 is not working i have wait for 10 minutes. I want try with the other method. I have this: USB:/usr/title/00050000/ in the 00050000 folder i have put my folder of Mario kart 8 and i have rename it in 000500001010EC00 i have try also 1010EC00 i have the version USA of the game and my console is USA so is fine. When i launch mocha the icon of mario kart is now here but when i launch it i got a error : 157-1200. You have said the format is exactly the same as loadiine and put the right game id is what i have do with your website. So what is missing here?

Can not use WUP Installer in FAT32 so how ?

Dimok said this:

You can add games manually to the usr folder (don't use WUP Installer!) and it will be listed and playable from USB.

Is not talking about a ticket.. so relax guys..

He also said
What's not working:
* copying games to USB (some titles worked, e.g. youtube)
* installing games to USB (wupinstaller fails with error code empty because files are 0 bytes)
* removing titles works only partially (quota remove is kinda buggy)
* symlinks don't work at all (only matter in install process)

Maybe install the title to nand or a spare USB so that the ticket is installed without Mocha's CFW enabled, Then delete the game (Tiket will still be there on nand), Restart console with Mocha's fat32 patch's & it should work.

Is there any improvement in speed by using the /usr folder method over loadiine? Someone tested the online?

I want also know this because like smash bros or mario kart 8 is not running after 10 minutes with loadiine usb.. I have done what the post said for a game in the /usr folder in fat32 HDD and is not working for now. Dimok is not talking about a ticket for a game on the fat32 hdd and some guys here yes... So.. wait.

There is a difference if I put the games in loadiine format in the "usr" folder or if I put them in the "wiiu-game in a HDD fat32 using mocha?

Yes, your "wiiu" belongs on the root of the system drive. Not inside the "USR" folder, that where wii u formated games go. Don't touch that folder, the wiiu folder is where your homebrew go that the homebrew loader uses.
