Luma3DS won't start up, I need help figuring out if I bricked it or not. The 3DS won't give any sign of life, except for the power light. I installed the necessary files and have gone through the troubleshooting guide multiple times now.
Any help is appreciated.
Did you follow 3ds.guide? There was a YouTube guide that bricked a lot of people because he left his otp in the a9lh folder.

To op, If you are fairly certain you've bricked, send it in to Nintendo.
The worse case is they refuse to repair/replace it for free and send it back to you.

The problem is once you choose to modify the 3ds through exploits, you've voided any warranty you have.

Doesn't matter. The techs that actually do warranty service for Nintendo are idiots.
They cannot actually repair anything, if the device doesn't boot or has any physical defects they just replace it.

Also, I firmly believe Magnuson-Moss Warranty law could be applied in a class action suit against Nintendo very successfully for their practices.

Alright, you might have me there. I guess worst case scenario they just send it back with an SOL note, no harm no foul.

@Proto_ZX , you completely screwed up big time. You weren't supposed to put your New 3DS XL in sleep mode in its CTRtransfer 2.1.0 firmware when trying to install a9lh. You'll have to either get someone to hardmod it for you at a steep cost if you don't want to risk bricking your system further, or send it to Nintendo to probably refuse to get it fixed or replaced with a new one. Sorry, dude. You're totally screwed and SOL.

OP has mentioned that he did not put his N3DS in sleep mode.
