It says "Close your system to enter sleep mode". I don't know what to tell you.ok but whats that message then?
Basically just letting you know the advantages of sleep mode over simply closing the software and powering down.ok but whats that message then?
oh so it is just recommending sleep mode ok i always thought that was an open sleepmode thingIt says "Close your system to enter sleep mode". I don't know what to tell you.
Nah. The main idea of sleep mode is to preserve battery without losing any progressoh so it is just recommending sleep mode ok i always thought that was an open sleepmode thing
Did it stop working immediately after installing A9LH (i.e. the (re)boot directly afterwards)?
Did you follow 3ds.guide? There was a YouTube guide that bricked a lot of people because he left his otp in the a9lh folder.Luma3DS won't start up, I need help figuring out if I bricked it or not. The 3DS won't give any sign of life, except for the power light. I installed the necessary files and have gone through the troubleshooting guide multiple times now.
Any help is appreciated.
if he did it yesterday or today, the otp shouldnt be thereDid you follow 3ds.guide? There was a YouTube guide that bricked a lot of people because he left his otp in the a9lh folder.
I'm fairly certain he followed Plailect's guideDid you follow 3ds.guide? There was a YouTube guide that bricked a lot of people because he left his otp in the a9lh folder.
The problem is once you choose to modify the 3ds through exploits, you've voided any warranty you have.To op, If you are fairly certain you've bricked, send it in to Nintendo.
The worse case is they refuse to repair/replace it for free and send it back to you.
Doesn't matter. The techs that actually do warranty service for Nintendo are idiots. The problem is once you choose to modify the 3ds through exploits, you've voided any warranty you have.
Alright, you might have me there. I guess worst case scenario they just send it back with an SOL note, no harm no foul.Doesn't matter. The techs that actually do warranty service for Nintendo are idiots.
They cannot actually repair anything, if the device doesn't boot or has any physical defects they just replace it.
Also, I firmly believe Magnuson-Moss Warranty law could be applied in a class action suit against Nintendo very successfully for their practices.
@Proto_ZX , you completely screwed up big time. You weren't supposed to put your New 3DS XL in sleep mode in its CTRtransfer 2.1.0 firmware when trying to install a9lh. You'll have to either get someone to hardmod it for you at a steep cost if you don't want to risk bricking your system further, or send it to Nintendo to probably refuse to get it fixed or replaced with a new one. Sorry, dude. You're totally screwed and SOL.
Oh, I might have missed his post about him saying he didn't do that. So he's somewhat safe for now.OP has mentioned that he did not put his N3DS in sleep mode.
try recovery mode
I wouldn't recommend doing recovery mode when the system is on 2.1.0. Insta-brick.try recovery mode
this would help greatly over all the you will brick if you do this posts.I don't mean to keep running you around on this. What step specifically were you on? Any and all specifics will help trouble shoot this
