Sounds like you got Gateway bricked sorry :-( There is a way to unbrick involving a Raspberry Pi but I don't know the details.a clone
Try emuNAND9 (another Luma payload). If that can't see it, try emuNAND tool, since it's used to working with older set ups (it's a PC program). Use one of the two to make a backup that you restore to sysNAND with the guide.having an issue my emunand disappered when upgrading from rxtools mset 4.5sysnand+10.6emunand to a9lh+luma3ds
Followed guide at 3ds.guide to letter and when i got to the restoring system step went to the move emunand and it doesnt show up in hourglass9 at all. My card wasn't formatted when doing all this most I did before i started the process was backup my 3ds folder and the files9 folder.
Dont know what happened to the emunand the partition is still at the front of sd card and was working before i started the process. Dont know of anything that could have made the emunand disappear or unusable. any help or advice would be nice
Boot into Hourglass9 and restore your backup.I've installed ARM9 etc and Luma3DS and all I'm getting from Luma's setup after "start to save" is failed to mount ctrnand, any ideas?
- Press Start to save and reboot
- If you get a black screen, just continue to the next section
- If you get a “Failed to mount CTRNAND” error, just continue to the next section
Boot into Hourglass9 and restore your backup.
It even says so in the guide, Section III Step 4:
Do a 9.2 CTR transfer then, and update afterwardsYes I know that, I've done that, still no worky, same error
Do a 9.2 CTR transfer then, and update afterwards
It does work, you just have to actually read it. (The 9.2 CTR transfer is linked several times in the exact section you said you are following)And how do I do that? Why can't someone write a guide that works?
BootNTR Selector.I have trouble finding the cia file for the latest version of NTR CFW. Where on earth do I find and download it, so I could install it via FBI after extracting it?
What am I doing wrong to get this error when trying to use oot3dhax?Use the oothax sploit installer that's included in the Homebrew starter kit.
Access the Homebrew Launcher on hacked system -> insert OoT cartridge -> open oothax sploit installer -> follow onscreen instructions to install the payload for the other 3DS's firmware to the cartridge.
Warning: I've experienced more crashes with oothax+sploit installer than I have with oothax+Powersaves. It's very unreliable.
I've never had that happen before. What am I doing wrong to get this error when trying to use oot3dhax?View attachment 72739
Where is the classic Plailect guide now? i used it months ago to make my 1st n3ds a9lh.
i now have 2 n3ds, one is a new stock 11.0.0.33, the other is my old a9lh one. Can i a9lh that 11.0 without nnid transfer? Or should i wait for any oncoming new *hax in Dec2016? thks
It's nothing to worry about, the home menu keeps a cache of icons instead of always inquiring on each app what its icon should be. You can fix it if you wish using Cthulhu (downloadable from FBI's TitleDB feature), pick the option to clear the home menu icon cache. So I injected FBI into health and safety, then injected hs.app back. It changed back, but the icon has remained as FBI (upper screen shows Health and Safety). Should I be worried? Does it matter? Can I just leave it as is?
Only games that the Nintendo servers have a record of you owning will transfer over. The license for Jagged Alliance will have been transferred to the target so you'll find it won't transfer over if you try doing another transfer (assuming you haven't called Nintendo to get the NNID back or anything). Also probably if you go into the eShop and back out it will disappear off your home menu.transf exploit and everything went okay. But Jagged Alliance, my game of choice, is still on the Source 3DS. Would I be able to do another sys transfer using the game that's already on it?

Yeah they do get suspicious and may refuse to transfer the NNID back. It happened to me a few days ago :-( You have to be very careful what story you give them.Would it not be suspicious if you called Nintendo to get NNID back multiple times? Once maybe, but if I do it again .. Transferring back from the console to get the NNID back is not really an option since the console(s) are not mine.
