Before I explain stuff; DON'T UPDATE TO 11.2! Slowhax may come next month #33C3!

I'm quite sure this has been explained before, but I'm not here to revive months old threads no one reads, rather I want to help people with this, since I see more and more people asking about the sites being down.

This Guide is for people who want to use Browserhax, Menuhax and/or ctr-httpwn, but can't since Yellows8's site is down.
His site is moving and if you want to use one of the things named above, I guess you already noticed that.

Some of these things can be looked up in Plailect's wonderful Guide, but since there are still many people asking for help, I included them anyway;



BROWSERHAX:

NOTE: Browserhax was patched with Firmware Version 11.1.0-34X!


What you need:

• This ZIP-file: http://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/starter.zip
• Access to your Internet Browser

Let's Go:

• Put the content of starter.zip on the root of your SD Card
• (IF YOU ARE ON FIRMWARE VERSION 10.7.0-32X OR BELOW, DO THIS: Open the System Settings of your 3DS and set the Date to January 1, 2000 and the Time to 00:00)
• Open the browser, go into Browser Settings and Initialize the savedata
• Open the browser again and enter one of the following URLs:

http://browserhax.dahou.se/
http://plail.ueuo.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php​

• You should be able to use browserhax as usual

MENUHAX:

NOTE: Menuhax was patched with Firmware Version 11.1.0-34X!


What you need:

• The right ropbin for your Firmware Version from here: http://smealum.github.io/3ds/#otherapp
• Access to your Homebrew Launcher (See above)

Additional Note: This assumes, that you've already put the content of starter.zip on your SD Card root (See above)


Let's Go:

• Copy the downloaded ropbin to the menuhax folder in the 3ds folder on your SD card and rename it to menuhaxmanager_input_payload.bin
• Enter Homebrew Launcher and start menuhax_manager
• You should be able to continue the installation like usual

(In order to uninstall Menuhax, just apply another Theme in your Homemenu Quicksettings)



CTR-HTTPWN:

NOTE: You can use this to use Online-Features, without updating to the latest Firmware Version (11.2.0-35X)


What you need:

• This modded version of ctr-httpwn: https://github.com/Plailect/ctr-httpwn/releases/tag/v1.0.1c
• Access to your Homebrew Launcher (See above)

Additional Note: This assumes, that you've already put the content of starter.zip on your SD Card root (See above) AND that you don't have menuhax installed (See above)
Warning: It seems like this blocks access to the eShop


Let's Go:

• Copy the content (1 Folder) of the downloaded ZIP-File to the 3ds folder on your SD Card root
• Enter Homebrew Launcher and start ctr-httpwn
• You should be able to use ctr-httpwn as usual

Author's Note: I really hope, that this could help you. If you still have problems ASK QUESTIONS, I don't bite and most people here don't bite either. This Guide is only useful for people having problems using any of the named things above, because Yellows8's site is down and this Guide will become useless once the site is back up again.
If there are any mistakes in this Guide, TELL ME. This could be important for other users having problems right now.

Did you download the modded ctr-httpwn and added the URL to the text file and save it on your SD Card?

It should look like this:

Yup it looks exactly like that. I have the modded files and everything. It tries to download it and after about a minute or so it just says the download failed and gives me an error code.

• Add this URL: http://them3dshax.000webhostapp.com/config.php below the already existing URL and save the textfile

• You should be able to use ctr-httpwn as usual

I'm a tad bit confused, why is this step necasary? I didn't do it and it worked just fine :/ although I was using the verion someone sugested from here https://github.com/Plailect/ctr-httpwn/releases/tag/v1.0.1c

This is basically the same as in the guide. It's the same modded ctr-httpwn, but instead of the them3dshax link it's another link provided by all mighty Plailect himself, pre-edited into the url_config.txt . But thank you for telling me about this, as this saves a step and will make this whole process easier; I will edit the guide rn.

For some reason I seem to be unable to access the eShop with this modded version of ctr-httpwn.

I can still play online though, I don't own any copies of Sun and Moon either yet or anything of that effect so I don't think this has anything to do with any bans either.

Do we know when Yellows8's site will be back up again?

Some people stated that they couldn't access eShop anymore, this has nothing to do with Sun and Moon nor with a ban. While I'm not sure if that's because of the them3dshax link and if Plailect's link fixes that (I edited the guide, so I don't know if you had to edit the url_config.txt or could already just use the downloaded folder), but I couldn't find an answer to the problem yet :/

Don't open the browser! Put a DNS that blocks Nintento Update Servers first. It will block the appearance of the update nag and will let you have the browser

I heard the 100$ N3DS could have 11.0 so its worth mentioning this

(Haven't tried it myself, but I can check later if I find the 11.0 browser CIA and try it )

Is there a list of DNS that blocks Nintendo? I tried using 208.67.222.222 that I found on Google, but it doesn't work and the nag won't go away (N3DS 10.7)

For this, I heard that if you go to your router settings and block every website, you will be able to get the browser back(idk, I just heard it.)

if you're refering to me, my sd card is a 16 Gb micro SD card, and I have copied my ropbin renamed to ''menuhax_manager_input_payload.bin'' and a copy of it renamed to ''menuhaxmanager_input_payload.bin'' at these folders:

SDCard:/
SDCard:/menuhax
SDCard:/3ds
SDCard:/3ds/menuhax
SDCard/3ds/menuhax_manager

and it still tries to download from internet, completely ignoring my SDCard
