Suggestion Switch subforum thumbnail

Currently, postings in the Switch subforum show a blank area where the thumbnail should be. I suggest using the Switch logo as the thumbnail. Here's my attempt, both in dark and light shades.

I used an EPS version of the logo in large size and scaled it down in Illustrator. I've attached the altered Illustrator file so different shades can be experimented with, as I'm not sure how it would look in different temp themes.

Doesn't really match the rest of the site. All the other icons are pictures of the device.

EDIT: The playstation icons are the controller, and the XBox icons use the logo, but still, none of the other icons are a flat design.

I'm not saying my design should definitely be the one that's used. I don't really care, that's just my idea. But we do need a logo.

This, I agree with. I think the PSP logo with a U wrapped around it representing the dock.

It's really quite a bit jarring seeing a red icon when I'm so used to only seeing blue and white icons.

Red fits with the colour scheme of the Switch marketing, but I agree it doesn't fit that well with the site. I'm rather fond of tertiary colours at the moment and have been using them a lot in app and web design.

I particularly like the red/orange tertiary.

What's an EPS?

Encapsulated PostScript. It's a vector image format.
