I thank the OP for the instructions but something was left unclear. I noticed after I downloaded the game using NUS, the files it shows are not .app .h3 etc. They do not have file extensions. Is this normal or did I download the file incorrectly. I'm just beginning to use UWizard again and so things aren't' quite clear to me. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Its should be:

SD:/Install/<All files here>

NOT SD:/Install/0000000000000001/<all files here>

AAAAHHHH! OK, so I moved all the files to the Install folder. This time it looked like it started to install then kicked out the error code 0xFFFBF442.

So close I can feel it.........

then please someone update the start post! it spreads false information.
You misunderstood the post.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

you won't be able to use it for anyting else. Formats and uses whole thing.

Get a 64gb drive. Fits plenty of games. Or a $30 128gb one
The posted stated they didn't want to buy a 1tg hd. The other person said he could always use it for something else later. You can reformat it for other uses

Twilight Princess HD doesn't work :/ Just gives me a blackscreen after creating a savegame. I have no audio either.

Twilight Princess HD works fine here, running from a 32 GB flash drive. Check your files and make sure you disabled the sleep mode on your HDD if it has this function. Besides that, if you use a HDD that gets powered by USB only, supply enough power to your HDD by using a USB Y-Cable. Also make sure the game is from the same region as your Wii U and check if the title.tik was edited correctly and is indeed the one TPHD should use. If it still does not work after all that try another HDD or USB Flash drive for testing.

Since we have some exceptions, why don't we post our tests and results here in an organized fashion and include this information on the first post? It could be very helpful.
For example:

Game: Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff - Title ID: 00050000-1014E200
Region: USA
Modification: [Offset: 00000000] Position 01: 03 -> 01; Position 0F: 6A -> 68
Status: Installing and running without issues on USB Drive
