I would think an FTP app to install games directly to the drive would be a better solution.
I could be wrong but isn't the WiiU similar to the 3DS where the tkt file needs to be installed to nand. So we would also need app to then get the tkt file to install on the nand.

the ticket file is needed to decrypt the content. that's why not all games exist for wii u usb helper. someone had to have bought the game at some point for the ticket to be known.

The following post sounds like pure marketing but isn't meaned like that, sorry

there is no way to directly copy to usb hdd?
There is: NUSspli. Well, technically it still downloads and installs in two steps but it's able to download to the harddrive instead of the SD card.

someone had to have bought the game at some point for the ticket to be known.
NUSspli creates the tickets on the fly. We support zero-day downloads for most content (so a newly released game can be downloaded and installed before anyone bought it / the ticket is known).

Do you need a Tik file when installing DLC? I have not yet seen any Tik file for any DLC so far so how is it even possible to install them (i'm using CFW aroma already)?
