Hacking R4i RTS 3DS (R4i Gold) White icon [A9LH & FW11.1] HELP

I have a o3ds with A9LH installed, Luma3ds as my CFW, FW11.1. My R4 Card shows up as a white icon with no text and boots to an error. I can see it's icon and title from FBI but launching it there reboots home menu. I can use it just fine on my 2ds Luma3ds Emunand FW11.1 and SysNand FW9.2..

My only thoughts are it's a A9LH related problem, but I can play real DS carts like Lego Batman (found it lying around in my brother's room)

Any idea how I can fix this? Luma3ds auto patches TWL_FIRM, but I've also tried manually installing it via CIA (reverted later on because still didn't work)

Nobody? Rip my R4, I loved playing DS games on it.. (my own dumps, mind you)

Is it this one: http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/aboute.asp ? Try using Apache Thunder's TWL Flashcart Launchers or wood3ds . You should be able to launch your Flashcart using one of these. Note that you need to have SVC patches enabled in Luma to get wood3ds to work.

Tried the launcher, it boots to a blank black screen and still leaves the 3D icon lit. Will try Wood3ds when I'm home

But no it's not that card. It's from https://r4ids.cn
The R4i Gold / R4i RTS 3DS (website calls it R4i Gold but label says otherwise, even in the pictures it shows)

Also I'm pretty sure Luma auto patches, and gives no options to what is and isn't patched.

Yes, I tried using my brother's Lego Batman and that worked. I also tried my old R4 Revelation card but that never worked on 3ds systems to begin with and didn't even get recognized as a DS cart.

Try using Wood R4 kernel that they've linked (the link doesn't work for me however, so you can use this one instead). If that doesn't work, try using wood3ds.

Then it's about patched arm9.
All what you need is "updating your r4"
Check what is latest release.

I don't remember ever seeing that in the config screen. Will try when home.

Turned patching on, still doesn't show icon and still errors on boot. This time I have an error message due to dev build though.

Didn't have time to update R4 kernel but I'm sure it's not the reason. Is it possible it's a A9LH issue? My 2ds is using a 11.1 emunand with Luma3ds (without SVC patches) and works just fine.

There is not. Folder called payloads, and files called config.bin, splash.bin, and splashbottom.bin

No firmware.bin

Check your 2ds SD /luma to figure your issue

There is not. Folder called payloads, and files called config.bin, splash.bin, and splashbottom.bin

Delete both splash.bin + splashbottom.bin, then go to lumaupdater get latest update ( normal or dev )
