Um... what?
If I understand your question correctly, NbaHomePass.exe BASE256.txt true 300 30 or C:\nzone.exe start BASE256
Also, I just noticed I'm not ghetting streetpasses from NZ@McD. I think I'm forgetting a step. Isnt there something with 3DS connection?
If you updated nzone.exe, then this is right, the new AP name is NZ@McD (it's not the same as the old one NZ@McD1). 3DS must _not_ have the same SSID conneciton configured.
You can check everything working like this
Code:
nzone reload
nzone start BASE16
to make sure MAC change period is long enoug, and check if NintendoZone app can load data (Nintendo zone McDonalds page)
after that you could switch back to BASE256.
The problem is that Nintendo have stopped spreading streetpass data between MAC addresses. So you only limited to have streetpass data from the people using the same MAC list _and_ the similar windows wireless driver version, since different drivers in fact uses it's own MAC address subsets, based on the same MAC list.
So, if you're able to see Nintendo Zone page, keep it running with BASE256 for at least 8 hours to cycle it all and maybe you will have a streetpass. Unless there are more people using it, you won't have many streetpasses.
There is NO other way to have them since fw 11.1. Using FNAC or other just spreads people resulting less streetpasses on the same SSID.

I am so saddened by this - I live in nowhere and I get a StreetPass once every .. well, never. running scrips from home was the only way I ever got StreetPasses
I feel a slight depression creeping

There are working methods now. The only valuable downside of fw11.1 changem is that StreetPass data sharing was disabled in Europe. It was never working in the US (except for rare streetpass weekends), but people still cycling MAC without being so sad :)

how does StreetPass data sharing differ from MAC cycling? or is it the same thing, just that StreetPass data sharing is from an official source? (I am a little low on sleep and could be understanding you all wrong, excuse me). in any case - I am down on my luck until/unless taintedzodiac makes an update to his script, because that is the only one I have ever been able to run successfully on my MacBook Pro

Original MAC streetpass relay implies you must have exactly the same SpotPass hotspot MAC to get the streetpass data left by other with this SpotPass hotspot MAC.
On streetpass weekends in the US and all the time before fw 11.1 came out in Europe, MAC lookup was not used. Yes, you still must have to change hotspot MAC if you need streetpass data exchange occure more often then every 8 hours, but you will get a streetpass data was left on SpotPass hotspot with any MAC available (and most probably SSID too). That is why Windows method works fine with european NZ@McD1 even when Windows just can't set exactly the same MACs for all available wireless adapter drivers.

So... I'm on Win10, 3DS10.7 and try to use nbahomepass 2.1.0. Been getting a whole of 0 hits last night, so I guess it doesn't work anymore? :( Or do I have to add the network to my 3DS settings? Honestly, I can't remember how I did it last time when it still worked.
€dit: Ok, when I look for access points on my 3DS, I can find "FNAC_BE_Nintendo_Zone" which needs a key.. Where can I find that? :wtf:

Switch to nzone.exe and wait.

Well, whenever I try to run that, all I'm getting is
Code:
C:\>nzone.exe start BASE256
msxml3.dll

C:\>
and nothing happens. And yes, I just restarted my laptop.. Great how it used to work on Windows 8 but doesn't anymore on 10.

It is working on Windows 7,8,8.1 and 10. To quickly fix msxml3.dll issue, you can switch to OS english interface.

Tried that and, typically, it didn't work...
Search the thread for msxml3 and also gole it. It is the common problem with windows culture/language settings/ build and MSXML variants.
I neither can't fix it because it is not my script issue, nor can't make a workaround because HTTP download, which is needed to get lists, depends on native Windows classes defined in that library.

Nah, it's alright. I'm annoyed enough by that piece of shit.

If you have a wireless USB adapter, you can try to use the VM method. Though a slightly manual work is still needed to reflect the last domain changes (unless I updated the image) and not every USB adapter have a compatible buildin driver, if it works for you, you will have the working Linux method with no MAC change limitation of Windows.

Oh, that sounds interesting. I do have a wireless USB adapter. It's got an Atheros AR5524 chip (while being named Atheros AR5007UG Wireless Network Adapter in Windows, heh) on it. Guess it's worth a try.
€dit: Oh right, now I remember what adapter it is exactly, a Zydas/zd1211rw. Not sure if it even works (maybe because of the changed domain, how could I change it myself in the image, if even possible?)
€dit2: This is what I currently see:

Yes, you could try this. If there is a compatible driver, I'll guide you on how to fix the scripts or update the image itself soon anyway.

I think there is a compatible driver (the console at least stated it "found" the zd1211rw stick).
Oh btw, when I tried nzone.exe earlier, I used that old one from glaciergaming. Just downloaded the one from your site and at least it didn't throw a msxml3.dll in my face, heh. Now I wonder if it works, network settings does tell me NZ@McD got internet access.
