My o3ds is stuck on a black screen after formatting like in Plailect's guide. I had downgraded to 9.2 from 10.3 and the system settings wouldn't open (franken firmware?). I foolishly decided to progress through Plailect's guide, making it up to the part where I used Tiny Format to wipe Sysnand. When I had rebooted, I came to a black screen. Troubleshooting, I took my sd out, to get the same result. I went into recovery mode, set up my wifi, and tried to update, when I get the message: "An error has occured. Unable to update. The system will now turn off." Is there any way to recover this? If not, I understand.

Have you made a backup of the 9.2 sysnand? Because i think the only solution to save your 3ds is an hardmod.
Edit: yeah, i think the problem was the franken firmware...

@Wiidii100 : You messed up bad. You should give your friend/customer your working console.
If you don't have any nand backups and not even a emunand partition from that console then the console is beyond repair.

Does it start the download before failing? Someone was having trouble downloading an update in another thread and was able to complete it by restarting the download over and over again. Each time it downloaded a small portion of the update but eventually it completed.

He said it took forever though. It might be worth a shot.

If it somehow magically works when I'm using a different wifi access point, I'll let you guys know, but it might be considered "bumping," as it'll be a month later. Also this might be off topic, but I haven't told my friend about this yet, and they haven't seen the 3ds (a present). So it isn't theirs, at least yet. And it "starts" (and ends within 3 seconds)
EDIT: without any progress made each time
