Own skyrim on steam, never played it and I don't have a PS4 but I might pick this up when I get a PS4 if this turns out to be true
nothing about this says remaster though? couldn't it just be skyrim + dlcs bundled?

That would be called "Legendary Edition" like it's called on pc and xbox
Ihope this is fake... honestly i'd rather a new elder scrolls game than a goddamn re-release for ps4

Well they are featured on HotUKDeals every single day. I recently bought 3 copies of A Link Between Worlds from there for £10 each. It was a mistake, I only wanted 1 but the paypal checkout messed up. I received all 3 next day and ebayed 2 of them for profit.
Also this rumour has been out from other sources like neogaf 2 days ago, but this is the first retailer to actually list it too afaik.
You guys need to look at the bigger picture, now that Skyrim is coming to PS4, they'll get mods, just like Fallout 4!

We'll find out in a few days, even if it exists.
Also, from a modding perspective, I hope it does go back to PC because of modding and the problems with 32-bit and windows 10...
No offense, but time for a new PC if you're still running 32-bit OS. 4GB of RAM is too low for a lot of games and apps in this day and age, especially for a gaming experience.
I really think that his issue is with Windows 10 compatibility with older titles
why didn't you never played? it's a great game..
sadly my old pc can't run it very well and i never fully enjoyed it..
Never got the chance tho now that I have a new computer I should try it, the last comouter i had couldnt run skyrim
I have Win 10 and Skyrim runs fine. Looks like crap without any mods, but I can run it without issue. As for older titles, there are some that fail (Fallout 3), but there are fixes online, and who really wants to buy the same game twice? Also, Hyper-V is available for free on the Windows platform, so spinning up an old XP or Win7 VM and sharing your native video card to play those games is not an issue either.

Safedisc... because of it i can't play the majority of my retsil games, which are from the safedisc era... (nfs carbon, underground 1, cod2, homm2, homm3&4 double disc etc.)

Self-Sign the SafeDisc Driver
A fourth option is also on the cards. This is more or less straightforward, but requires you to get your hands a bit dirty. It involves self-signing the SafeDisc driver so that Windows 10 will detect it as a trusted file.
The easiest way to do this is to employ the Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider tool, which, when run as administrator, enables you to sign a previously untrusted file.
Once you’ve acquired a copy of the SECDRV.SYS file (either by downloading it or copying it from the c:\windows\system32\drivers directory on Windows Vista, 7 or 8, and saving it to the same location in Windows 10), run the DSEO tool by right-clicking dseo13b.exe and selecting Run as administrator.
Work through the subsequent dialogue boxes until you see the main menu and select Enable Test Mode then click Next.
This time, select Sign a System File, and browse to the SECDRV.SYS file inc:\windows\system32\drivers. Click OK, and wait while the driver is signed. You’ll see the following message:
Once you have followed the instructions to restart and then run DSEO again with Test Mode enabled, the driver should now be loaded by the game you’ve had trouble with, restoring your ability to play it.
(Should you be using Windows 10 Technical Preview, enabling Test Mode will result in a watermark appearing on your display. This can be removed using the Remove Watermark option in DSEO.)

That's exactly what my spoiler shows
. Yeah if the game doesn't work, and the developer doesn't have an update specifically for the game, then not much we can do. GOG is a good alternative since they patch old games to work with newer MS platforms, but MS is not at fault for this stuff, and like I mentioned earlier there is always virtualization or dual booting an OS on your PC to get you back in the games we love if you don't want to re-purchase them.Similar threads
