This page is simple, just name a time you remember when your things you cherised has just stopped working, console, game, save data, memory card coruption, controller malfunction clothes ripped, or whatever.

To start, i had at least 15 different kinds of sd cards stop working. It just baffles me why they do that, i take care of them.
I also had least 3 controller from past consoles stop working, or faulty buttons. I will right more if i remember.

I had a 1TB HDD just kinda stop working on me while I was in the middle of doing something on my computer. Another HDD had also died in that computer prior to the incident I just mentioned. I blame the computer for that happening, I've never had anything else like that happen on any other computer.

Probably because they were cheap ones with poor flash in them.

The only thing I had recently that died on me was my electric shaver thingy which kept me silky smooth 60fps.

Also, I dunno about sd cards, i buy a lot of them and from official retailers so something about flash i wouldnt understand. Just i use as intended and then decides to visit davy jones' locker for permenant retirement vacation.

My Razr I phone that died tragically yesterday.

If is android stuck on booting process, it may be possible to enter the recovery menu service mode and do something to fix it. That's what i always do with my nvidia shield tablet.

My JTAG it was dead so I baked it in my oven with foil to bring it back for a measly 1 hour then it died again.

Not this time around. Razr I's tend to do this a lot and when they do it, it's most likely a hardware issue.

My first 3DS was bricked (and later unbricked after sending it to Nintendo for repair) after my mom had accidentally ejected the game card of the currently running software while the 3DS was in sleep mode. All of my system save data and system ExtData was gone after the repair, but all of my other save data and ExtData remained intact.

Lesson learned:

Always have a NAND backup even if you are not on an exploitable firmware or using homebrew to modify the system!
