Hacking What CFW support gateway card and arm9hax?

So my friend has a (old) 3dsxl (eur, if it matters) and a gateway card.I thought about telling him about installing (au)reinand with arm9hax, but then I thought that he will want to use his flashcart to play phisical games. So, is there a CFW that support arm9hax and gateway red card for old3ds?
He is on 8.0 sysnand and 10.7 emunand. Of course he wants the multirom menu, and doesnt want to lose his saves, so if theres a way to turn his gateway emunand directly into some other CFW w/o losing the saves, it would be great.

Well I think the only solution right now is to have an updated sysnand and a 9.2 Emunand set up. The Emunand for using the Gateway card.
What your friend also can do is wait a couple more months (gateway soon) for gateway to release A9LH support.

The only CFW that supports Gateway is Gatrway's own official CFW. As of right now Gateway doesn't support A9LH (although they claim it will soon,) so if he wants to use A9LH, he is pretty fucked.

tell him to backup all of his sd card and make a emunand packup. Format all and folow the tuts here from the begining. skip the last step where you update sysnand past 9.5. When done set aurei to autoboot emunand restor the emunand backup and copy old files back(keeping newer ones exept the nintendo3ds folder). Boot aurei sysnand and install the gateway forwarter cia(or take the long route via hbl or faster via menuhax) now you can auto boot emunand for cia or boot gateway via sysnand to play .3ds (from the same emunand). With this setup you dont need to mess with sysnand to mutch. Alternativly you can wait for the promised gateway soulution coming soon

I think with the gateway launcher mod that someone made (an hblauncher_loader mod) it is possible to use gateway on an a9lh emunand. I can't get it to work though, the payload simply runs a black screen....

that is a mod of the hbloader.cia that you can imstall on a9hl sysnand on 9.5 witch boots the gateway.3dx what boots the launcher.dat

There is that, but it's not A9LH coldbooting, which sucks.

Can someone link me to a tutorial of how to do this ''multy CFW'' magestry? And he cant update past 9.2 maintaining his Emunand, so whoever said it-why do you say things you dont know ???

You can update up to 10.7 on your sysnand if you have a9lh? Also, search for "Multi Emunand Creator" to create multiple emunands.

well if you use a GW emunand with multible cias installed and downgade it to 2.1 and it works fine, i thing when downgrading is concerned the cleaner you work the better
