I don't think Cemu is "working as expected" on AMD cards after applying the driver fix tbh. Haven't found anyone on the reddit sub with an AMD card getting decent performance.
Meanwhile seemingly anyone with an Nvidia card regardless if they have an AMD/Intel CPU is getting 60fps in titles where AMD GPU owners struggle to even get 20-25.
Not sure. I have a fairly cheap card, a 7770 Ghz Edition 1GB GDDR5, and I get a fairly solid 30 FPS inside the Swordmaster's Hut on Outset in Wind Waker. Are you saying I should be getting more with this card? I'm using Catalyst 16.2, no special settings. Minor overclock (1200Core/1550Mem).

AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE @ 4.0Ghz
1333-9-9-9-24-1T
4GB RAM

This is probably a dumb question, but is it possible to hack save files of games running in this emulator? One example is the Octohax for splatoon. Is this possible in Cemu?

WTF! 355 in just a week? WOW! So much people joined in! XD

Anyways, Genei Ibun Roku #FE or Tokyo Mirage Session(Shin Megami TenseiXFire Emblem) has memory leak. About 80-100% of the memory. But harmless.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Smash Bros 4 Wii U goes back to Memory Leak but harmless.

Ducktales Remastered turns to Memory Leak.

Edit: I'm so stupid. All games reached to 80-90% of Memory. So normal but runs fine.

Probably, can't say for sure since I don't have WW nor seen anyone mention their performance in WW. Most people on Reddit essentially use SMM and NSMBU/SM3DW for reference and SMM seems to be the easiest/most common to hit 60fps in so far.
Look at this guy with an FX 6300 at stock with a 960 get 60fps in SMM using NSMU:

Meanwhile I barely manage this with an FX 8320 4.5 OC/390 8GBVRAM 1150core 1600mem /16GB 2133 RAM in SMM using SMB:

Its a work in progress. Thats why.
I'm going to admit I initially laughed at the whole "4k video running in the background increases performance!" thing, thinking it was some kind of joke/early April fools prank. While I don't entirely understand WHY it works, it DOES work and I'm finally getting consistent 60fps in SMM compared to my previous ~25fps.
New pics below:

I take back my stance about "working as expected" on AMD cards, though atm it seems those with both AMD CPU/GPU essentially require *2* workarounds/fixes to get consistent performance. Also noting having my video paused and not actually running was still enough to get ~35 more frames in SMM compared to before. This process doesn't seem to help in MK8 however, probably going to try running different things/games in the background and see if it changes anything.

Edit~ Seems to help in SMB3DW as well, went from ~15 fps up to ~42fps with dips into ~30fps.

Okay, who wants to flaunt their pc hardware know-how?

I've got two pc specs to choose from:
quad core APU 6800k 4.1ghz

Or

amd phenom II x6 1100 T processor, gigabyte hd 7870 graphics card

Which one should I go with?

Not to sound snarky, but why not try both and find out. Id be interested to see the results.

Edit: Or see above :D

So I've tried mario kart 8 150cc mode on mario circuit and I got between 20 and 40 fps. My cpu usage was only lik 20%, there were still 4gb ram not being used. Why is it struggling when there are videos of 45+fps?
nvidia 970m
16gb ddr3
i7-3720qm 2.6ghz (not overclocked but can be boosted to 3.6)
hdd

Don't tell me "it's not optimized" or anything like that because I've seen 45+fps

So I beat SM3DW, some things:
The in-game timer is off. It's ~1.35x fast (makes clearing Flower-12 tough). Happens with both interpreter and dynarec.
At least 2 levels are unbeatable due to unimplemented mic (needed to blow fans in 1-Toad and 2-2).
At least 3 switchboards don't work (2 in 3-7, and 1 in Star-9). They fall through the rails they're supposed to ride on. Switching to interpreter fixes this.
Audio during the credits scene doesn't play.

Here's an imgur album of some screens.

Try having something running in the background? I got nearly 3X the performance in SMM/SM3DW doing so if you check out my last 2 posts. :P
