I have the patched sysnand, I don't use emunand anymore, but there's one called "usepatchedfw" should I delete it too?

I recommend taking your whole Aurei/Rei folder and deleting it. It's easier that way. Then just put the new Aurei folder into the root of your sd card and put the firms in it too. After that replace the old arm9loaderhax.bin with the new one as well and tou should be good.

Alright I haven't been keeping up with Aureinand ever since I got arm9loaderhax I'm getting the last version, I checked the log for the previous versions and there's something that says. "Delete all patched firmware" I don't get it D: can someone explain to me?.

Just keep firmware.bin and firmware90.bin (if any), and if you're using old versions that still use "rei" as working folder, you need to rename that folder to "aurei". If you have any payloads in "payloads" folder or a splash.bin, you can just keep it.

Delete it. New aureinand has a boot menu that allows you to chose boot mode automaticly.

I'm facing a strange bug. I don't know if it's AuReiNand's fault or A9LH's fault. Sometimes if I take out my SDcard(when the 3DS is turned off) and re-insert it, the o3DS won't boot. It will show the blue light and turn off(like there is no a9lh.bin payload at the root of the SDcard). I have to press the power button several times in order for it to turn on. And another issue is when I play a game(eg Mario Kart 7 or 2048), if I hold the power button(in order to show me the "turn off system"), it will show me a black screen saying "An error has occured. Press the home button"(or something like that). I press the home button but it gets stuck in a black screen. :S It worries me.

From what I understand the newest version doesn't even use that file any more and just stores that data in the config file it creates at first run.

Sounds to me more like your SD Card is failing rather than AuReiNAND or A9LH.

Question: i swapped my nands using the CRTNAND method about a month ago and all my stuff seems to working fine. But i keep hearing about all the problems others have been having with ds games and gba saves. Are these problems something that manifest themselves later or am i safe?

Sounds to me more like your SD Card is failing rather than AuReiNAND or A9LH.

Daemn! It's brand new, bought it almost 2 months ago. 64GB, Class 10 UHS-1, Kingston. I'm not using the adapter it came with(it's a microSD). I might try another card or the adapter it came with(it's not home unfortunately).

Will the stock 4GB one do the job? Doesn't hurt to try.

try it out, since A9LH is supposed to have a 100% boot rate, the power on issues should go away when you switch to the 4GB SD Card. Make sure AuReiNAND and A9LH bin file are on the SD Card first.

Just tried 5 times each. Both cards worked. xD I don't know what to say. Time will tell.

well, if both work, it could be that the SD Card reader on the 3DS itself is picky and requires the SD Card to sit just right to work. this is just an educated guess as I do not have the console in hand.

Every sd card and flash drive I have had by Kingston has died in a short period of time. I stay far far away from them.

If you do end up buying another card I recommend trying to buy a microsd sandisk from Amazon, that dist. channel is free of knock offs. Amazon also sells the product as an authorized seller so you get stellar customer service if anything goes wrong with the card. Micro SD are more durable too.

Follow the advice dax and other posted a few pages back, I did. These issues are due to transferring ctrnand only.

If you do end up buying another card try to buy a sandisk from Amazon, that dist. channel is free of knock offs. Amazon also sells the product as an authorized seller so you get stellar customer service if anything goes wrong with the card. Sadly, I can buy from Amazon any more...

^This, I make it a point to buy SD Cards off of Amazon, For me, I switched from Sandisk Ultra Class 10 UHS1 to Samsung EVO Class 10 UHS1. both work great though so I would recommend either.

You have to transfer all the partitions except FIRM0 and FIRM1, not only CTRNAND.

If it can, you don't need to downgrade. It can't as there is no ARM9 kernel exploit on 9.5+ . You can install a hardmod to inject or extract you sysnand regardless of firmware version
