I have been compiling with safemod/safe_mode removed completely; I have been deleting ref to safe_mode in button, firm.h and firm.c files (only because I wanted to use the A button to make decrypt9 a bit harder to load and block sysnand all together
but as of the most recent build, I unable to load external payloads after making these usual changes.

It should work on Linux, you can give it a try if you want.

I always do that on my N3ds.

now I realized that because I created a new user it messed up with all devkitpro cmake is not working as well, and i'm not remembering what tutorial I followed to install devkitpro, it was in some wiki

I use cyberduck ftp to transfer new releases all the time. Works fine

Normally just the arm9loaderhax.bin and sometimes the aurei folder.

Guess it updated. When I rebooted my 3ds I had to reselect all the patches again and it said "error firmware90.bin not found", then when I restarted it worked like normal since I do have a firmware.bin file in there. Hope it's alright.

Install your game to both Sysnand AND Emunand. Install the agb firm to the nand you want to launch your games from.

did that, still getting the "an error occured bit". installed agb firm to both sysnand nand, and emunand nand (not sd card) and installed the cias to both sysnand and emunand too :/

Have you installed the right agb_firm for your 3DS model? Is your GBA game corrupted?

should be the right one yeah, patched it myself. hadnt considered the game being corrupted. il try another one thanks. and after i'l try finding a premade agb firm.

What do you want to tell us? Didn't understand.
If you were talking about the possibility of loading two different payloads, yes you can do it, it's not something new.
The main difference is that, now, the payload named default.bin in /aurei/payloads can be load using L+R. Other payloads (named after buttons such as up.bin, a.bin, etc...) can be load using L+the button associated to the payload. Example: L+A loads the payload named a.bin in /aurei/payloads)

I had an idea but I don't know if it is possible. Nothing great about the CFW just something that may be slightly easier to use for people who have 5, 6 payloads. When it's time to update those, I sometimes forget which one is up.bin for example.
I was wondering if it would be possible to load the file that starts by "up".

AuReiNand would try to start the payload that starts by "up" when we press L+UP. For example, "up_decrypt9.bin".

As I said it, I don't know if it possible but I think it would be really convenient.
