They might be, actually. Should I make them smaller? Is the music file size above the original music file size?

Sorry for the late reply. I'm transferring it right now. For some reason it's really slow, but it's already at 80%.Try this BCSTM and let me know if it works or not:

Okay.maybe it has to do something related to the quality of the audio or the format so try using another converter and try lowering the quality of the audio after all you are just replacing existing files with ones you did. compared to nintendo that they have the engine
Yeah, I tried doing that to cut the file size in half, but it sounded really awful, and crashed anyway. Also make sure the song is NOT mono. I found this out the hard way when changing my Smash Bros Music. It will either crash or play like a dying midi that doesnt know it's dying
same as how when people try to inject mario kart 7 tracks they support less textures and polygons compared to the ones nintendo has so you should try that and tell me how it goesOkay.

92%. God, this is really-really slow.
What do you mean? Inject custom MK7 courses into MK7, or port them to 3DL?same as how when people try to inject mario kart 7 tracks they support less textures and polygons compared to the ones nintendo has so you should try that and tell me how it goes

custom tracks into mario kart 7 replacing existing ones. so let me give you an example the music park course has around 10,000 polygons and some 256x1024 textures but if we try to inject custom tracks we wont be able to have that quantity of polygons and quality of textures because the way to inject tracks is too raw compared to the tools nintendo has so its the same case here importing any kind of stuff like music or assets will always cause trouble and it will loose quality for the fact that their is a programming behind the games is not only models and music. so try using another converterWhat do you mean? Just exploit the crash into a new homebrew entry point, that'll do everyone a favor.I'm making a Super Mario 3D Land RomHack, but I have a problem. My custom music crashes the game after playing for about 0.5 seconds, on every level. Strangely, the music on the map works fine. Any ideas on what could cause this?
