Homebrew R4 Stage2 TWL Flashcart Launcher(and perhaps other cards soon™)....

I need help with this. I'm using an original R4 with wood R4 on it but I keep getting "An error has occurred" whenever I try to boot it from emunand. I've installed the TWL_FIRM patch with a higher version from aurora's thread from that iso site onto my Sysnand and Emunand. I've also installed the woodr4 launcher onto my emunand only but it seems nothing's working. I tried to get the latest rxtools nightly but the nightly release website doesn't load the links for me :/

I finnaly got it to work by using mini pasta and manualy install the twl patch. Now I only need to figure out how the wood flashcard works. Thanks for this nice launcher Apache Thunder

You need to install it to sysnand too if you want to use it from emunand. (patched TWL_FIRM is only needed on emunand though, so don't install patched TWL_FIRM to sysnand!)

Ok so I got rxtools working and installed the cia so now it boots but it just brings me to the blank woodr4 screen. There are three buttons a ds card, gba card, and a folder but they all dont have text. Any idea what to do

You need to install it to sysnand too if you want to use it from emunand. (patched TWL_FIRM is only needed on emunand though, so don't install patched TWL_FIRM to sysnand!)

I've installed the launcher to sysnand too and tried launching it again but still no dice. Could you link me to the latest rxtools build? Thanks.

If you got other firmwares to other carts you can test send them my way and I can convert those as well. Does any one have a SuperCard DSone? I have an SRL converted for that one. Have yet to see anyone test it though:

I've got a SuperCard DSOne SDHC, using this firmware http://down.supercard.sc/download/evolution/DSONE_SDHC_Evolution_V1.0_eng_sp6_20121030.zip
It gets to the SuperCard loading screen then hangs.

Is there a newer firmware or was that the only one? SCFW.SC was in that firmware pack and it looks to be a similar SRL that R4 is using. Might have better luck with that. I'll work on that one shortly.

Another R4 isn't going to help. If you get the error has occurred message, there is something wrong with the version of TWL_FIRM you are using/patches not being applied/wrong version of rxTools/etc


In fact latest "release" build of rxTools doesn't have the needed patch for TWL_FIRM. You will need to find a nightly build that isn't older then 12 days from today.

Its not an error, it boots up with a screen with three icons with no text

hey i had something like that where the icons of the wood appear but when i click a it appears a window without anything and can press b to cancel and move up and down .. if it like me i removed it and put again the sd firmly and put it back.. it just has to get in the right place and it worked for me.

after getting the newest rxtools and installing the cias for ttds in sysnand I still get a error telling me to turn my 3ds off. Any one know why?

Wonderful stuff guys. Is there any chance you could get this working with the gateway blue card. Or is there one that works already. Am new to this side of things so please excuse if I'm way off the mark. Thanx.....

I got the RxTools 3.0 beta 2 is it not the newest one?

What do you mean by Pasta Mode (aka devmode) does not apply patches to TWL_FIRM/AGB_FIRM, so you need to use normal sysnand mode? I just went devmode to install the cia how would I do that in regular sysnand? I am trying to use this in emunand BTW

The YSmenu one gives a white bottom screen and a black top screen. Is there any chance of a fix being possible for this?
