Resident Evil 4, 5 & 6 coming to PS4/Xbox One this year

Today Capcom announced that Resident Evil 4, 5 & 6 will be coming to PS4 & Xbox One throughout 2016. Check out the following trailer:

For some reason Capcom have decided to release the games in reverse order:

By now anyone who's played video games probably has played RE4 and that's one of the most famous RE games to date. Releasing RE4-6 just seems lazy of Capcom than to actually make a new RE.

I finished 4, 5, and 6. I can't wait for 7th on PS4. No, I didn't finished 0,1,2,3 just yet. I will. I will wait for 2 and 3 on PS4. Not interested on PSX.. Too old and ugly graphic, you know. (Chuckling) Anyway, it's fun and scared at the same time. :D

Yeah, the Dreamcast was a good machine that was eclipsed by the extremely popular PS2 for many reasons DVD playing capability included.
The Wii U in the other hand has not been eclipsed, the other consoles are nothing out of this world. The Wii U just committed software suicide on its own, it cannot stand on its own even without serious competition.

PS: I should disconnect my Wii, it has been throwing away power in just turning that red LED on for the last couple of years.
The PS4 is approaching 40million sold, at a faster rate than the PS2. I suggest you refrain from calling it "nothing out of this world". The Dreamcast and WiiU are both fantastic niche consoles no matter the sales.

There's hope for a Xenosaga port.

Really? I thought it was still selling so so but above the average. Have to check again my numbers.
Regarding the Wii U... Meh... I really want to like it, but I don't even find the niche on it, I mean the typical Nintendo first party niche, where is my Metroid and my (non-remake) Zelda?
Dreamcast is a different story.

Dreamcast will forever be praised for the potential it once had and that the Dream will never die, but as for Wii U.. It has a couple of good games (quality over quantity) so it's hard to even compare it to Dreamcast. Even moreso when several games are unfortunately undermined due to the amiibos as certain content is locked to them and the only way to acquire is through the darn toys.

There are some Wii U collectors who buy Wii U games from all regions regardless if they're good or bad so what they're doing is for collection purposes than actually playing the games. This collector below is a good example of it.

I doubt my personal Wii U collection will ever hit 40 games because there's not a whole lot that I'd find worth buying because the ones I want I already own and well, seems like 2016 might be the last year of Wii U.

Probably spending time on the RE2 remake but Revelations 2 was probably as close as we'll get to a new RE game.

This means Resident Evil 4 will be on 7 different platforms. Not counting the Gameboy DX and All-Stars versions, I don't think even the original Super Mario Bros has been ported officially that many times.

RE4: Gamecube, PS2, Wii, 360, PS3, PC and now PS4 and Xbox One. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out to the NX as well.

It also came out on Android, I love RE4 but after the Wii version all others just will feel wrong after getting spoiled on that version.
