Help needed.

Recently had to unlink my nands. Now I'd like to use GBA VC, and to do that I need to install the cias to SYSNAND as well as Emunand. However I can't seem to install FBI to sysnand on RXtools (can manage to access rxtools in sysnand). When I try it comes up with "Error opening 0:fbi_inject.tmd". It's been a long time since I originally installed FBI to emunand. Am I missing a file? I know I need TMD 3077 by doing a check. Sadly not getting any joy looking in tutorials, and am conscious that I don't want to lose my emunand.

Is it required to be installed on both the sysnand and emunand? I use the big blue menu to install all of my cias. But I haven't tried any Vc yet.

I rebooted and was able to then launch FBI from menuhax, and it loaded for the first time. However, I could not run any cia on it, primarily the FBI.cia?

Check that you did everything correctly. I think this tutorial is ok, except that it mention emuNand. Try to do the same thing but select sysnand instead.
If it still does not work, it might be a probleme with corrupted or not working tmd file..

(Also, at the end of this video tuto, it's said to launch FBI injected in order to install the CIA version of FBI. Since you are in sysNand, don't do it)

Let me check some old post/PM i did about this thing to see if i can remember something specific.

Thank you. This video had the link to 3077 tmd files that I'd been searching for, and turns out that was the problem. Now have FBI in rxtools sysnand

Minipasta reboots the system and let you install non-firmed cias.
So when you run minipasta and reboots, the next thing you need to do is to boot homebrew from sysnand and run the fbi.3dsx to install the .cia version.
It is important to run the fbi.3dsx after minipasta reboots your system.
If you run minipasta and then, turn off and turn on your 3ds, you would need to run minipasta again.

I presume you are trying to play GBA games as CIA, using the GBA rom converter to CIA, and the AGB_firmware patched as '''hax''' to launch them.

So, now that you have FBI running on sysnand, you'll have to install AGB_FIRM to the sysnand

basically it's simply :
1 - install 0004013800000202.cia using FBI running on sysnand (destination NAND)
2 - install your GBA.cia game in sysnand too (i don't remember the destination, i guess it's SD, this time)
3 - optionnal : to play the game on emunand, go to emunand and install the game gba.cia to the emunand. But this takes twice the space on your sd card since your install it twice.

Hi

It's probably due to an error with NNID, for example if it's already used elsewhere.
You have 3 consoles. If you want to use eshop on the 3 consoles, you'll need 1 different NNID for each. keep in mind that it's impossible to have same games on all your console unless you bought them on each console.

About your N3DSXL, you might tried to link your current NNID. according to this post : http://en-americas-support.nintendo...~/how-to-link-an-existing-nintendo-network-id
The only way to use a NNID id on another console is to perform a data transfert (through 3DS settings menu)
(maybe you trie this on the 2DS too ?)

Anyway, your only solution is to have 1 different NNID on each console.

1 - Chose which console you want it to use your NNID.
2 - Perform a data transfert if Needed (this needs both consoles to be up to date, carefull with that if you want to hax)
3 - create and link 2 other NNID to your 2 consoles left. This might needs to format the 3DS.

A day, someone would have to teach to Nindendo the real meaning off 'cloud'.

I don't need a systransfer, I had already my account on my N3DSXL before I donwgraded and put up Reinand. The other 2 (N3DS and 2Ds) I don't really care for the store (gonna give them away to my nephews and I know that i need some new NNID for those then).
But now it gives me that error and I read that you need to format it again? But won't I lose Reinand then?

I suppose I can't just go into sysnand and then the shop to delete my account there and after thta log in into the eshop in EmuNAND?

You can make a backup of your emunand and SD card,
format emunand,
link your NNID on your new emunand through system settings, etc,
once done, reinject your emunand backup and pasta back your SD card backup.

have you moved the files from your regions 3077 folder to sd root?

the steps are:
dumping emunand to emunand.bin
backing up the nindendo 3ds folder (the one with your sysnand and emunand folders) from root to pc.
enter emunand, system settings, check youre really in emunand, then format your emunand from system settings.
wwhen its done, reboot and enter emunand, go through the initial setup, set up internet connection and then go to system settings and NNID settings. log in with name, email and password.

careful, there's a chance that somewhere along the way, while the system sets up nnid stuff, you'll get bumped back into sysnand. if that happens, after you try to login, it will inform you that your system needs an update. in that case, just slowly back out of the menu, reboot and try again

when thats done, get back into emunand9, copy emunand.bin back to emunand, unmount your sd and restore the nintendo 3ds folder.
afterwards, everything should work.

dont worry if entering eshop gives an error the first time, that seems to happen, just start it again

Dump emunand to file with emunand9, backup your sd content just inserting your sd on your pc and copy/paste.
System format your emunand from system settings, format, etc... just like normal (sorry, my 3ds is eur so I don't know the exact names in english).
Then, boot your empty emunand, go system settings and on NNID setting, relink your old NNID.
After that, you can reinject your emunand backup with emunand9 and paste back your SD backup

I would love to do it myself but to the best of my knowledge it's impossible without a flash cart of some sort. I'm only running RxTools CFW.

It's always the same games - Devil Survivor Overclocked Undub, Conception II undub, Legend of Legacy, Mario Tennis Open and Yoshi's New Island. Is there something I should do to make them not do that?

Also, is there any easy way to accept the T&C Streetpass agreement for USA games (EUR O3DS) without the official SDK?

If you've been following the guides right, you've most likely been downloading the Nightlies build for rxTools. They don't tell you which version you have so you MUST know what you downloaded.

Sounds like your NANDs are linked. That's the gift wrap bug that linked users suffer from, only solution is to unlink.

No, the only way is by Nintendo SDK.
