What's your specs?
It's pretty rare that Cemu crash after the first race.
Here's mine finishing the entire cup(with video speed up)

BTW. I did realized that Mario Kart 8 can save data.
I can see my recent ghost racing on GBAMario Circuit.

This is my PC for gaming and for emulators:

CPU: Core i7 6700K (no OC)
MB: Asus Maximus VIII Hero
VGA: 2x Asus Strix GTX 980Ti
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 64GB DDR4 (3733MHz)
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1600W

The thing about the G3258 is its overclockable and when done (Mines at 4.2 Ghz) you get insane single core performance.

You can make mario maker work for 100 fps
and 40 fps on low-end pc!
What you need to do!
1. Install cheat engine
2. Open cemu and cheat engine
3. Load a game in cemu
4. Click create button
5. Open cemu in cheat engine
6. Enable speed hack then write 0.3 inside (It will not slowdown the game)
7. Click apply.
8. PROFIT!!

P.S Also if this dont work to you, try to set the value 1.1 or 1.2 or 1.3 . These should work

I tried that post (copied the course000) but when I lauched the mario maker, I cant push the create button because I didnt pass the first tutorial

It only increases fps counter, but still runs slow. Keep in mind it runs off a slow interpreter so I really doubt any speed hacks will work. Whenever a recomiler gets created (when most games boot and are accurate) we will be able to play games full speed and maybe even on low end PCs. If you play any emulator off an interpreter ie Dolphin, it runs terrible due to the way the code isn't optimized, however the emulator will run better in the future but for now, high end specs won't even help the emulator run fast.

Cemu doest not currently supports dx12, so you can stay on Windows 7

Personnally, I just love to always be up to date ^^
So I updated to Windows 10 the first day, and I don't regret that.
I think all we can do on Windows 7 can be done on Windows 10, so I don't think that it's better to stay on Windows 7 (And also, Windows 10 was free for a year, so I couldn't say no ^^ )

I would upgrade to Windows 10 as it provides a (slight) performance increase.

Well. Finish the tutorial. After that, close Cemu and input course000 to Mario Maker Save data. Once it's done, open Cemu and the game and you are free to make levels.
