What is it?
I'm working on a totally awesome bootrom exploit for Xbox One, and including a CFW installer with it!
What can I do with a bootrom exploit?
- Install custom firmware
- Homebrew
- Backup loaders would be possible, but for some dumb reason I'm going to put obfuscated DRM into my CFW to prevent piracy and ragequit if anyone tries to crack it
- Emulators (only if the devs promise to put some kind of annoying verification system in them. Remember, piracy of out-of-print games=a lost sale for eBay scalpers!)
- Booting Linux for some reason
When will you release?
I have no experience in coding, computer hardware or reverse engineering, and I have no proof of concept or planned exploit vector, but there should be an alpha release within the next 2 hours.How can I help?
You can make banners, icons and gui elements because I promise I'm actually going to release this time! I also need a group of idiots who know even less than I do who will defend me no matter what and insult anyone who has a valid criticism of me or my work. Calling them ungrateful or entitled seems to be pretty effective.
