I have downloaded the disk writer and got it to work,but now I'm having problems trying to get a back up game working on it. It gives me a pop up saying. 3DS rom has no resource data yet. Please update the template. i have tried three different one and got the same pop up.

Long story short, I have a Japanese 3DS LL on 9.4.0.21J. I would like to install a Homebrew launcher exploit that doesn't require me to connect to the net every time.

Menuhax 2.0 doesn't boot yet. (Doesn't crash at least)
Cubic Ninja (US and JP ver) doesn't load.

I can use browserhax and regionthree fine. I guess a browserhax loader app for Android would be fine (Like "Go! Android" for regionthree) but I have no idea how to code that.

Being < 9.5 means Ironhax and oot3dhax won't work. (So the web claims)

Any ideas?

Did you try the Ninjhax 2.5 QR code for your version and region?
(I have known some QR codes to be faulty for some versions and regions; you have to contact Smea about that one)

Also, are you sure you can't install Ironhax for 9.4.0? I remember having an installer which installed a 9.4 payload (I might be wrong)

Been there, spoke to Smea. He confirmed it won't work. The only way for me to load the US version is via regionthree and that ensures it won't work. The JP rom doesn't work either, I'd need the cia I believe and I can't run that on a sky3ds, so cubic ninja is out of the question.

I'm 80% sure you can install an Ironhax payload for 9.4.0J.

What do you mean by downloaded rom? Which one are you talking about?

Ironfall. I guess its an eshop download only.

I'm pretty sure you had to have downloaded it while the exploit worked. The one on the eShop currently is patched.

I remember when Ironhax came out, I setted up Ironhax in my USA N3DS and got upset that I only got Tubehax in my JPN N3DS.

1)Make sure you have selected a template.

2)Make sure your backups are from retail dumped games only.

It is very simple. It does not work with either version of Cubic Ninja. I have spoken to Smea and he confirmed it does not, and will not work on Japanese version consoles without the eshop version. I cannot explain any simpler than "It does not work."

I have a JAPANESE CONSOLE. Hence the J. It is known that a number of exploits do not work on it.

I also said my console is version 9.4.0.21J.
Ironhax requires version 9.5.0-X up to and including 10.3.0-X, for X up to and including 28.
oot3Dhax requires version 9.5.0-X up to and including 10.3.0-X, for X up to and including 28.

Why don't you just update to the latest fw?
There's nothing special about 9.4 other than browserhax works
If you were on <= 9.2 I'd understand why you wouldn't want to update
