It looks like Nintendo has put IronFall Invasion back into the 3DS eShop, but this new app has the IronHax exploit patched. If you don't have IronFall Invasion already installed, then this new one won't work with IronHax. If you already have IronFall Invasion and IronHax installed before Nintendo originally took it down, you should be safe. Just avoid any updates.

The latest update will replace the full app, and isn't a deletable patch add-on, so once you update you won't be able to go back!

(thanks @ihaveamac and @teampleb)

Could Nintendo be planning a patch for IronHax?

If you are curious with what happens on IronFall 1.2.0:
The ironhax save is loaded like a regular save file; however, all sound from the game stops. If you try to load the campaign, it instead shows the VD-dev logo and file selection again. Tested with 1.0 and 1.1 payloads.

On a side note, the font of the interface changed too!

Before you worry about me, I did this on one of my other 3DS systems!

Too late Nintendo :P

Screw IronHax, there's so many other exploits now (BrowserHax, ThemeHax, TubeHax, etc) that as accessible or even more accessible than IronHax. BrowerHax is probably one of the easiest exploit to use, doesn't depend on other exploits beforehand.

That's a EPIC FAIL for Nintendo , I Hope They Stop Patching And Admit They Lose

Fixed games are rarely re-exploited.

I'm wondering if I can backup my 3ds folder, then download the ironfall update (for science). Then, when my curiosity is sated, restore the old Nintendo 3ds folder and it would still work.
