People who didnt get ironfall should get it. Because 2 years later somebodys gonna be like "OMG I FIXED IRONHAXXXXX!!!" xD

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Im surprised! I usually get messages saying i need more space! Glad i checked! Downloading it now!

2 years? Lol no one is going to care at that point. It's a bit cumbersome like Ninjihax since you have to boot the game and then the save file. People will have moved on to either better exploits or get a Nintendo NX :D

As others have said, there are much better alternatives to Ironhax now. And those of us without Ironfall on our console's regions' eShops have gotten by just fine without it

The only one who loses is the small company who had their game removed from the Shop for months and lost revenue as a result.

Let's take a look then.
  • themehax: doesn't allow the use of themes. If you really want to use one custom theme, you have to compile it with that theme. still can't use theme shuffling though
  • tubehax: somewhat unstable. requires internet connection.
  • browserhax: a bit more reliable than tubehax. requires internet connection.
  • oot3dhax: costs money, and requires another hax to install
  • ninjhax: costs money
  • ironhax: no longer available for new owners or those who deleted it

An unfortunate casualty of hacking. Not saying it's smea's fault - somebody else would have come along and made the exploit - but it is what it is.

Apparently it's patched, but Ironfall is back on the e-shop.

Smea apparently thinks this means themehax will be patched soon.

What about BrowserHax, SmashHax, and all those other hax? :(

I feel like we won't find another exploit like ThemeHax anytime soon. It's a pretty special one considering you can completely replace your 3DS menu with the homebrew launcher.

VD-Dev actually celebrated the boom on downloads before the game was taken down, they are a studio that works hard on every game they get and earn money from licensed games.

I'd actually recommend to download it anyway, it's not a bad game and it actually shows what can be done with the O3DS when developers get actually serious. I mean, it's a 3 men team and their games actually put to shame almost anything developed for the same handheld.

I think they're patching it just to get it out of the way. They removed IronFall so long ago, right? They have to put it back on the eShop eventually. Why not patch the bug in the process?

I'm updating once a Smash patch comes out if it's safe for homebrew. Otherwise I'm going to keep my tin foil hat firmly in place. No need to update if you don't need to update.

But they did put it back on the eShop, and release a 1.2.0

I believe yellows8 is working on this issue and will have a fix soon. If you check his github history he has been very busy with themehax and has a large commit coming.

Unless things have changed, you'd still need to compile it with a decompressed body_LZ.bin.
