I feel like this needs to be stickied... but at the same time I know people still won't see it.
yep they will just try to rework the question like "how long until i can load r0mz pl0x", and "maybe if we insert a banana in my bum we can use it to send cia files wirelessly" etc etc, just have to wait for the fresh release "R0mz pl0x fever to pass"

It's kinda sad that people are already asking about this when this was just released. You can tell that most people's mindsets here are on piracy when the full intentions of these exploits is only for homebrew.
Yeah. So bad they cannot enjoy the real reasons for this: Aperture Science 3DS and making your own 3D apps. (Those are my reasons at least).

The only two reasons I care about exploits is to try out homebrew developing and screw with romhacking, the latter of which actually requires rom launching.

And yes. People are asking about piracy because that's what they want. Fussing about it isn't going to change it.

I think being able to install custom CIAs can be used to make booting up homebrew quicker (like forwarders or a direct boot to the homebrew launcher) and even further homebrew, but that said we're not to that point yet. It wouldn't surprise me, and it's a bit disappointing, that a good chunk of people are probably looking for the ability to install CIAs for purposes of piracy.

I think, generally speaking, homebrew that is installed to the homemenu has access to more system resources then those launched via homebrew browser. At least thats the case with the only comparisons we have. Ninjhax/cfw on 9.2<

Yeah, I was just thinking about my ideal against why a lot of people are wanting the ability to install CIAs under the newest exploits.
