Gaming Ika Musume Outfit Coming to Splatoon This Week (in Japan)

UPDATE: Ika Musume outfit confirmed for North America!!

Looks like the collaboration outfit for Splatoon of Ika Musume (Squid Girl) is complete! It was leaked that the outfit will be in three parts: hood, dress/sleeveless, and shoes. For those who are lucky enough to have a Japanese Wii U, you will get this free DLC outfit following the big update this week. I, however, am not that lucky.

Are those of you getting the free DLC excited for it? Do you care? And for those who are in the west, are you disappointed that we'll likely never get it here? Or, once again, do you care? Let me know!

I'm pretty sure they'll still have to include the outfit in all versions of the game, only selectable on the Japanese version but you know, in our update as well so that the outfit shows up when we play against Japanese players

I see no reason why this can't come out in the West. The anime is subbed and available on Crunchyroll anyways. In fact, Nintendo should push the fact that you can eatch the series on the Wii U especially after CR was updated so that you can watch the anime for free (but with a LOT of adverts) on the console.

Ohh, I´m so much expecting this! I also see no reason for it not coming to West, since it´s essentially a dress and not some obscure Gundam armor, for example. (hey, thinking better, that would rock too!)
