Couple questions for those that got this working:

1. Does this overwrite your current saves on your OoT cart?
2. If you write the GW save and it's corrupted, do you lose all your cart saves, or just the single GW save?
3. Could you perform a sysNAND backup, and does emuTool work to backup your emuNAND like before?

I love OoT and can do without my saves, I just want to know what to expect. I also don't want to lose functionality in the cart since I will want to play it again on my N3DS at some point. I got myself a copy of CN this morning too to future proof myself haha.

1. Yes this overwrites your current saves in the OoT cart, you could always backup the original save in case you want to go back.
2. If the save is corrupt then iirc it deleted the whole game, so all 6 files I suspect.
3. Yes you can, once you get into the Gateway menu. The emunand tool hasn't yet been updated to support the NN3DS I think, so no not yet.

As a response to your post above there, I suspect it's an exploit related to that specific save game and not the actual file, so I don't think it's a one time thing

I like how some people are forgetting that there are still more methods that Gateway is looking into and that Cubic Ninja is just one of them.

Good thing I buy most of my games so that I don't miss potential game exploits like OoT3D.

Instant gratification is key here, thus I almost spent £50 on a brand new sealed OoT last night :v
Good thing I didn't!

the zelda exploit should also work with the o3ds or are there any problems?

and emunand can be updated to the latest fw? means, that i can also do a system data transfer between o3ds and n3ds?

I successfully updated emuNAND to 9.5 then I wrote the 4gb microSD image to a 32 gb microSD and used it. Apparently I'm getting Ver 9.0 in sysNAND and Ver 9.5 in emuNAND (instead of GW3D 9.5), I am not sure yet whether the indicator is broken or the System Settings is broken in emuNAND. There have been multiple reports that System Settings does not freeze when microSD is taken out, so be careful.

Really? I don't have this issue despite me using a 32GB microSD. :|
Does it say "Ver" or "GW3DS" in your Settings. Multiple cases suggest that this fact holds true.

It will work, but you don't have to use the Zelda save exploit on the O3DS. The method is mostly for the New3DS.

Thanks! By one-time thing I meant the writing of the save, not the running of the exploit since it's a given that it needs to be run each time you exit to sysNAND. Does the exploit only take one save slot and you can use the others to start a new game? Like I mentioned I want to avoid losing cart functionality. :)

It says 'GW3DS,' not 'Ver.' :U

Fuck it! I'm buying the goddamn Sky card. Better that than paying 80 euros for a Cubic Ninja

But you have a gateway card so how come?

You'll need a gateway... That's the whole point of this, so go for that first. Since you already have OoT physical cart, why would you need a sky + OoT rom?
Get a Sky if you want, but you have no need to for these purposes (Assuming your cart is rev00 and actually works).
If you have an old 3DS that's gateway compatible then you don't need a save dongle, a save dongle is an adapter that allows you to backup and restore saves in genuine carts. Have a look on Amazon, you should be able to find one there.

K, ill look for that dongle, that could be very useful for a lot of things, i have a 9.4 3ds so I gotta get it, in the meantime I may play OOT 3d :D

Ah, in that case yes, it's a one time thing writing the save to the cart.
Starting a new game in another slot shouldn't affect the exploit at all :)

Sorry if this has been asked in the last 59 pages, but is there a guide going around on how to do an Emunand to Emunand System Transfer as I'm too nervous to try it without the assistance of a guide.

Thanks in advance!

Hmm that is strange, perhaps it occurs only to some microSD brands? What's yours?
The micro SD card is a 32GB Sandisk Ultra.
What model is your N3DS? Maybe it only happen with one type of nand, as there are two.
Uh, it's a Red New 3DS XL. My NAND dump is 1,979,711,488 bytes.

1. Buy a LOZ: OOT.
2. Launch GW exploit and set up emunand and stuff.
3. Replace sysNAND with CFW
4. Convert OOT to cia format.
5. Install OOT.cia on CFW.
6. Inject save to OOT.
7. Return LOZ: OOT.
8. ???
9. PROFIT!
