I'm the only one with this problem? Using an older rev works flawlessly, USB in port0 (the bottom one) tested with port1 and same problem exist, but if I exchange ports in the middle it shows a USB Init Error = 0 Shutting Down

you gotta try a different USB drive, its possible that the newer Nintendont revisions broke support for some usb drives

I totally agree, people have to realize that enabling widescreen in a game that doesn't officially have one is like using a cheat code, it's normal that the game would cause issues because it wasn't designed to work that way, I'm even using a computer on a widescreen monitor and using WinXP with 4:3 screen size and black bars on the sides, it's no problem to me!

Except that if FIX94 hardcodes the game specific widescreen code the issue is resolved, the issue only appears when Nintendont uses the standard widescreen code.

Please remember guys that brocken things during developpement process is normal.
Sure there are new features, but it is likely to introduce new bugs.
Just test everything you were testing before and be sure to report if anything behave differently. Whatever it is better or worse.
This way, we (people), devs, beta testers could find solutions to recent issues ;)

Well i don't another USB Drive, so I'll stick with the older rev until the issue is resolved, thanks for the heads up anyway.

Didn't know there were games that had a/v sync issues. Can you give a listing of the others?

It only happens in the Genesis games in Sonic Mega Coll. It's a flaw of the emu used, apparently it doesn't handle well the Wii's improved hardware and gradually goes off sync and the audio eventually distorts.

Maybe a timing issue?

The partition has to be a primary partition (i.e. not "extended" or "logical"), and it has to be the first partition on the drive. (Not by positioning, but by its order in the partition table.) I don't know of any tools that can reorder partitions without moving them physically, so you may need to repartition and reformat if it isn't already the first partition.

The "active" flag means nothing to Nintendont.

Not likely, devolution has been confirmed to work with those two games, and Sonic Mega Collection still desyncs. This game remains unfixable.
Oh well, still a fix for these two games should be a priority at this point, more so than adding widescreen to games that don't have widescreen in my opinion!

Does anyone know if its possible to leave my wii u formated ext hdd in? If I have my wii U hard drive in one USB port and my FAT32 HDD for Usb Loaders/Nintendont plugged in nintendont fails to find usb:/games. Regular wii games through Wii USB Loader GX work find however.

You can connect the WiiU drive on port0 (Top port) and nintendont will work with the two HDD connected.
But users reported issue with USBloaders and cIOS v10-alt not working as intended with port1.

It's not a feature that nintendont lets you use Port1, it's only a result of different updates done recently.
If you don't use USBLoaders, it's a good workaround : exchange port1 and port0.
If you use USBLoaders, it's not a solution.

I re-added the warning on the first post telling that DUAL HDD is not supported.
It shouldn't corrupt savegame anymore, but I left it just to be careful.

the difference is that the fix for the widescreen problem is pretty easy. No one still knows how to fix those sonic games yet. However, i think the fix for Sonic Riders that the Dolphin people found is a good step in the right direction towards more compatibility.

Is there any chance of USBLoader and cIOS compatibility though Port 1 being fixed. Or is it better to not get my hopes up?

There are also games like Smugglers Run, Buffy and the X-Men Legends saga that work flawlessly in Dolphin but won't boot or freeze on Nintendont.

your best bet is to use cheat codes. PM me your email address and ill send you a gct file with the unlock codes for all character, stages, and trophies.

You'll need to follow the intructions in page 1 of this thread to enable cheat codes

why use cheat codes? lol just pass him a raw memcard file with everything unlocked, its much easier to inject a full save with dolphin then to use cheats to unlock everything.

i prefer cheat codes cause it doesnt require you to use a whole other program. But yeah its also possible through Dolphin
