Hello all.

I have a modded wii and am trying to play mario party 5. I've played many gamecube games using nintendont and usb loader gx on that wii. In fact I played through mario party 4 last week. When playing through mario party 5, it seems to crash every time someone uses a capsule. Are there any settings anyone can think of that I can change to fix the problem?

FIrst thing's first: what settings are you using to play the game?

Bad rip? I haven't had any problems with Mario Party 5.

Seconding this. Screenshots of your Nintendon't settings, either directly or through USBLoaderGX, would go a long way towards identifying the issue.

To further clarify, does the crash occur regardless of whether you launch the game through USBLoaderGX or Nintendon't?

Here are my settings. I'll try running it through the homebrew channel, see if it still crashes through there. Thanks for the help.

Just tried to run it through homebrew channel and it also crashed when trying to use a capsule.

I'm not sure why it would be a bad rip since it's from my own copy of the game

Ok, another wrinkle. I put the file on the sd card and it seems to work fine from there. So I don't think it's a problem with the file. The crashing is happening from the file being on the hard drive

in this case is a problem in your hard drive this also happend to me i was playing kirby's epic yarn and always crashed in a especific part in some levels but now i use the same file on my new flash drive and works flawlessly

I got a new hard drive and put the game on it. It seems to be working correctly. Though I've been having freezing in one or two other games (wii games) and they appear not to be fixed. Those were also from discs in my collection, but they did seem kind of scratched
