Hey,

I just got a Gateway 3ds and am on 4.4.0-6E firmware. I've followed every step in guides and pretty much got up to the part where I updated my emunand to 9.2 (it was saying GW3D 9.2) . However, when I left the system settings after checking to make sure I updated the emunand properly, it booted me out back to the sysnand which is still 4.4.0-6E. After that I thought I could re enter the Gateway menu and start gateway mode again, but holding L and going to 'Nintendo DS Profile' only put me into the actual nintendo ds profile menu instead of running gateway.

Does anyone know how this even happened and what I possibly did wrong if anything, and how I can fix it? Is the only way for me to get Gateway working again by putting the blue cart in again, even though I read that the only real time it is needed to go back to Gateway Mode is after going into DS mode and playing a DS game. It still is very odd that after I successfully updated the Emunand that I can't even get back into the Gateway section.

Just execute the gw_installer.nds again.

Thanks, having to use the blue cart again did work afterall, I guess exiting the settings normally probably got rid of the menu, I must have missed it somewhere in the faqs.

Swear people dont have common sense on this site...

Well i did have the idea of putting in the blue cart again anyway as seen in my first post. I did see that exiting the settings would go back to the sysnand, but didn't read anything about it also removing the ability to go back into gateway as well, so just making sure, as it's better safe with silly questions than sorry.

You must have changed something important in the settings without paying too much attention. For example, changing the language of any of the NAND images will corrupt the GW hack, forcing you to reapply the hack with the DS card. Not sure about what other settings cause this.
