Hacking Region Free WADs on WiiU

Since there's no Priiloader for the WiiU, how would you go about using region-free WADs on a Wiiu?

I have a PAL WiiU and need to play the Japanese version of OoT. Is using ShowMiiWads to remove the region lock on a WAD safe to use on a WiiU?

I YOLO'd in and did it anyway. It works, albeit with some lag.

You can make a wad regionfree, then make it run in ntsc video mode by launching it from Usb Loader GX. Works for me. No lag.
