wait, what..? n64 emulator for gamecube?

Yeah the compatibility for it is bad. I tried a lot of games and none of them work except the games that I or people confirmed working. VC is probably the better option especially with the fact that the n64 emulator for gamecube is no longer being worked on. You won't be see any other games working anytime at all. Sorry if I got your hopes up.

my opinion there maybe 2 different problems!! your iso is f!?cked which is the same as kinda having a scratched disc (it will give you that warning^^). or you have tried to load a game that uses 2 discs? and it doesnt like the second disc?
Hmmm, that pic is from Luigi's Mansion, I don't think it's a broken iso, I used it in Dolphin, and works normally.

Are you using the latest revision of nintendont? make sure you're not using a cache.txt and maybe try loading the game from a different sd or usb device.

Quick question.

Is there a way to transfer a Nintendont save to a Gamecube memory card? I'm hoping I can transfer my Path of Radiance data over to Radiant Dawn.

Not a huge deal, but I wouldn't mind getting those stat bonuses.

1.Use Dolphin to extract .gci from Nintendont's save file (.RAW)
2.Use GCMM to restore .gci to GC Memory Card

Why whenever I try to save my progress on Super Mario Sunshine the game freezes after a couple seconds?
BTW this only happens on Super Mario Sunshine, Kirby Air Ride saves just fine.

Give more info, what version Are you using? Which console? Sd or hdd? Is it a 1:1 (unaltered) iso or is it compressed? Does any other game save correctly for you?

I am using the latest revison from the code.google site. I am using a Wii. Hdd. Dont know if its a 1:1, but I imagine it is. and yes other games do save fine. The game saves just fine, the problem is after you save then the game freezes.

I suggest you edit the post and delete the website's name; try downloading nintendont 1.80 ; a couple pages back there was a link therboss posted. I'm on my phone so is quicker if you find it yourself

One like this:

Someone did mention that they got a xbox controller working with an adapter, but i think the price wasn't worth it compared to other controllers

I downloaded 1.80, but Super Mario Sunshine still freezes after saving. The iso works fine in dolphin. Dont know what else the problem could be.

Newbie here, I just installed Nintendont and tested the game with SSB Melee.
I'm using my PS3 controller and loading the game from SD.
The game loads but the controller doesn't work. :(
I'm lead to the screen 'Enable progressive display scan', something like that and I can't select 'yes' or 'no' because I can't move or select anything.
I tried force enabling it in the Nintendont settings but doesn't do anything.
I already tested it in the HUDtest and it works fine.
Also I figured out how to get past that screen by pressing the 'reset' on my Wii.
Now I'm stuck at 'There is no Memory Card in Slot A'.
I know the OP said to put some file in /saves/ in the root, but I have no idea how to get that file.
Help?

Thanks.

Maybe its your hdd, try a different one. Any thumbdrive will do, or an sd card that can hold the Game.

You don't put anything in saves, just enable memory card emulation in the settings before choosing a game.

I think you're missing the controller.ini for your ps3 controller, you need to download it from the project page and rename it as controller.ini in the root of the sd. also, Hid controller must be enabled in the settings

It's not the controller.ini, because the game wouldn't even boot if the .ini file is missing.
Chances are either he forgot to enable HID, or the controller.ini is not properly configured.

Please, check the HID is enabled in Settings and if that's not the issue then check the controller.ini in your computer and make sure the Sticks are correctly configured.
