Hacking Gateway Icon and Launcher for DSTWO

Okay guys, I just made a launcher just to enable the installation of Gateway on DSTWO

I'm sharing it, because I think most people think the DSTWO it's the best DS Card, so why keeping the black Gateway ? Now i'm running with DSTWO and White Gateway, so I can play both when i want

The package DOESN'T include the release of Gateway (GW_INSTALLER.nds)

Installation :
- Just look for the bmp in the zip and extract to _dstwoplug directory
- Make sur you have made the gw_installer.ini with the text in it :

name=GW Installer​

​

- Put the GW_INSTALLER.nds (downloadable ... SOMEWHERE !) in the _dstwoplug directory

Finally, make sur you have all three files in the "_dstwoplug" directory


PS: Feel free to custom the name and make some cool icons for your own card

Yeah it's simple to make it:


HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN ICON :

1°) Make a 16 bits 40x42 bmp of your choice (drag and drop any 40x42 image to the exe downloadable here )
2°) Put the new bmp in "_dstwoplug" and named it GW3DS.bmp
3°) Create a txt file named "gw_installer.ini" and copy this text :

name=Gateway 3DS

4°) Put the GW_INSTALLER.nds (downloadable ... SOMEWHERE !) in the _dstwoplug directory

Finally, make sur you have all three files in the "_dstwo" directory

not sure if the profile installer would be banned, its no different than the homebrew ropinstaller(well its different but fundamentally the same stuff) i think its the launcher.dat thats not allowed as it contains some of nintendo's code

but who knows its up to gbatemp to decide if they want to sale in safe(ish) waters

you cannot post links to gateways website either
