fifa 13 to 14 is really just a roster update
I mean look a fifa 13 for the vita it was just a menu change, the game was exactly like 12(the same teams and players)

Erm...yeah. I'd direct you to a couple threads in the 'user submitted news'-section, but I really don't want to revive those things.

Fact of the matter is that EA has the exclusive rights for FIFA-games. And they're not developing much for the wiiu (at one point a couple weeks ago). This isn't to say that this may not change in the future, but...the relationship between EA and nintendo isn't good. At all. And that's putting it mildly.

Sorry if you had any hopes for it, but it's absolutely not likely to happen.

Are you all dumb or what? People put in judgment his gaming decision, everybody talking bad about the game, but none is answering him.
My favourite squad isnt officialy on Fifa since a long long time, so if they release a Fifa with it, I would buy for sure, so maybe that is the reason he wants Fifa 14 and not Fifa 13.

Well, on topic now, Fifa 14 is annouced for the following consoles: Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

As you can see, there is no announcement for iOS, Vita, Playstation 2, Wii, WiiU and 3DS yet, but the fact that they already have Fifa 13 released made me believe that soon or later EA will release for it.

PS2 still the most popular video game on poor countries like Brazil. The only problem releasing Fifa 14 for it is that, at least here, nobody have ever seen an original PS2 game.

Actually what I am more upset by is that EA actually own all the rights to FIFA (and other sports junk.) Which greatly limits the gaming market, because it means only they can make the games for them and not allow others to do so. This also means that everyone is at their mercy, if they don't want to make the game for your system, touch shit no one can make them now. Not to mention they just reuse the same game, when it would be easier to just make DLC for the latest crap. Instead they just make a new game every year and expect people to buy them and deal with paying the same amount (some times more) over and over again for pretty much the same game.
I would rather see them make a new game when they actually improve on everything (engine, teams, controls, ect.) instead of just messing with the teams for the latest shit.

PES is better, why? :because the emblems of the brazilian teams are original, not the shitty generic ones from FIFA

Ahhhh i know we wont agree but i was a PES man for years and then i noticed how downhill the gameplay got and it started to copy features from other games and it didnt feel like a PES game anymore and so i switched to Fifa which was much improved over the early 2000's games (which were shit) and iv played both of the newest games and PES just doesnt feel right anymore, its not as fun as it used to be.

I think the best way i can describe why i dont like it is that it used to be more arcadey (whereas fifa always tried to be realistic) but it was fun, but now its trying to be realistic but it still feels like arcadey and it just doesnt feel right. Fifa does realistic better and actually feels comfortable to play and fun, PES isnt fun anymore for me.

The PC version is getting shafted too, the new 'Ignite'engine isnt being developed for the platform so if Fifa 14 does come to PC it will use the old engine..

SNES' Fifa 98 was undoubtedly the best in the series and well overdue an update if you ask me.
