I'm pretty terrible at the introductions but I'll get right to the point.

I make my living as a freelance artist and I'm well versed in photoshop and would love nothing more than to help you with this project.

I don't really speak japanese so I can't help out with translating but if you need any images edited, I'm your guy.

I have been waiting years for these games to come out in english and it seems like we were all teased when internet sites said that some company had acquired the rights to bring it over.

Anyway, thanks for undertaking this project. Seeing all the work you guys have already put into this really made my week.

There's a file attached to the original post on the first page. If you want to edit some of the images in there (post the image and we'll translate it for you) then we'll be more than glad to welcome you aboard!

Got the batch and I'm attempting to learn how to open with the tools you've also linked.

Thanks!

How long does it normally take to decompress the install.cpk?

Because I've been looking at a blank command prompt for a couple hours now.

Just checking if I'm doing anything wrong.

And for the final snare of the evening, heh, decodegima keeps crashing so it doesn't look like everything gets decompressed.

Any suggestions?

Watch the console. Whatever the last file in the list is, that's the one it's hanging up on. Remove that file (delete it or simply move it into a folder above DecodeGIM) and run it again. There are some files which get stuck and I'm not certain as to why. However I don't believe they're important.

1. Left side = Time(s), Right side = Credit(s)
2. Up/Down = Select, O = Decide, X = Cancel, Triangle = Data Detail, Select = Sort
3. Battle Select!
4. Blue = Semi AI Red/Grey = Full AI, However this has already been translated I just haven't updated the file on Page 1.

When re-packing them simply overwrite the original files with the new ones (in the same save format, do not change it) and then hit the "RepackGIM" or whatever it's called.

I saw that "NamePlate_JP.BTX" wasn't translated, so I did a partial translation (didn't translate stuff with kanji)
It's a .txt like this
TTFZFKw.png

The (partial) translation is here

Cool. I'll give it a once over to make sure everything looks right and translate the ones with the Kanji. I'll post them here when I done. Shouldn't take too long since it looks like all of them are names.

EDIT: So, I was checking the NamePlate text that Kalker uploaded and going through the names and fixing the mistakes, such as the most common one which is confusing ツ and シ, 'tsu' and 'shi' respectively. Anyway, I digress. It seems that the NamePlate text has exactly the same content as CharacterName, which I already uploaded. So Crash, can check if it is so? If so, then you can just use CharacterName text for NamePlate.

I hope I didn't commit lots of mistakes xD

By the way, is it alright if I translate the "LBX Arm Name"?

Not much :) Other than the ツ and シ thing, the only other mistakes were the reading of some the Katakana where you didn't translate well some of the foreign words and the convention when dealing with the small 'tsu(っ)' and 'yuu(ゅ)' and their katakana equivalent. Don't worry. You'll get better at it the longer you do it. Practice is key :) You could download the file that I translated (CharacterName+CharacterExplain) and compare them to see for yourself if you are interested :)
