That panorama view demo finally comes to the wii u as Wii Street U... in Japan. As shown in the video, it even has it's own community.
I might play with it a bit when it comes over.

I'll probably be responsible for 95% of them.
But, I admit freely, I'm super-interested to see how fluid the images are moved around with the WiiU gamepad. If it's done more with the gyroscope than the buttons or touch interface, then simulating looking around could trick the individual into really feeling more immersed with GoogleEarth, than with a computer mouse dragging around the picture.the word on the street is that this is basically just google earth on the wiiu so I'll be passing GO on this
you can pretty much see them right now with google earth you don't need to waitI am really excited for this one! I lived in Austria for 4 years when I was child and I really want to see its streets once again!
Really? O.o I didn't know that. I thought you could only see them from top-down view...you can pretty much see them right now with google earth you don't need to wait
I see. I will try this out! Thanks a lot for the infoon google maps you can also see it with street view and can see the street 360 degrees (i just looked at my house and street on it) that's all this does except on the wiiu
Wii street U? Yeah...I'm also straight. Thanks for asking.
Seriously, nintendo. Lay off the silly "wii" and "u" name already. This is starting to break new grounds of retardedness.
Looks like Nintendo is streets ahead.
Remember to tune into Community on Friday folks.
