Perhaps you didn't like it. But the 'nobody' part has me disagreeing you, because lots f people loved it. In fact, tbh it is my favorite pokemon game, in terms of battle gameplay. In general though, It's crystal. XDNot necessarily, nobody liked B/W. Maybe they weren't done all the way because at the same time they'd been developing B/W2.Seeing as it has an expected release date which is quite soon, and the regional release gap is also quite small (from what I have read), I have to assume that it will use quite a bit of material from B & W (Areas, Towns, blah blah blah), or has been in development for quite some time and the whole thing has just been kept really hushed.

Really? Personally, I disliked Gale of Darkness because I felt, with the exception of the catching and purifying dark Pokemon concept, that it was really nothing but a handheld Pokemon game with 3D graphics. I gave up an hour into the game. lol.I just want there to be a change in the pokemon franchise. Please, lets get a handheld experience like gale of darkness. Though I know it won't happen with this game, hopefully ninty can crack open a new idea.

Yeah. I was sorely disappointed when I actually got into the game. I started my first battle, and was like "SERIOUSLY?? Still the same stupid turn-based concept the handhelds have been using since 1996??" I'm just glad I got it for free (a friend gave it to me) and didn't pay for it. I would've been pissed to find out that I paid $50 for a handheld game (which would have cost $30) on a TV with 3D graphics. So true. I was actually expecting to be more like the console version of a traditional game, but sigh..
YES!!! Thank you for seeing my point!Could pokemon ever be something not time based? Otherwise we'd have full scale mortal combat with pokemon characters... that actually sounds amazing...
It wouldn't have to have all of them. And I'm sure it's doable. There have definitely been more ambitious games out there. How many Pokemon did Gale of Darkness have, anyway?I stand corrected. That would take a lot of dev time though... move sets and button combos for over 600 pokemon? Gasp...
