It says in the unlock that’s it’s supposed to be for home brew of course people aren’t gonna listen but it helps keep him out of trouble

Already had to do it with my original one it was broke from the factory actually ended up breaking my switch and just using it as a part board

i think we saidly aint gonna see it.
as soon as he saw the post he probaly ripped of his clothes ran straight outside and is running but naked threw the streets and Screaming HE RELEASE IT HE DID IT !!!!!!!!!

next step solder it together and install the firmware.

I think there should be a detailed guide/tutorial which OP will put every single necessary information (diagrams, schematics, solder point, images,...) step-by-step to lead advanced users archive this. So that, they can have a safe place to develop/test homebrew apps, overlays, ....

quick q, whats the difference between fw_2.5_NW.uf2 and the unlock.uf2?

fw_2.5_NW - the firmware itself, version with disabled start detection ("Non-Wait")
unlock - just a portion of data that enables HOS running (for any 2.0+ firmware)

so 2.5_nw then flash unlock over the top or just unlock? or flash unlock if previous fw is installed?
