The ISO's and RVZ are over 4GB. Switch's FAT32 filesystem does not support files larger than 4GB. I don't want to scrub Subspace Emissary. So I have to split the game.
EDIT: I guess Dolphin doesn't support split WBFS files. Sigh.
You can copy >4gb files onto your Switch by FTP or MTP. The Switch OS uses a trick to store them in multiple files but treat them as one automatically.

yeah mine is fat 32 and ftp does it fine its not like that , it uses file transfer protocol over internet and it works that way ... i have never had a single issue and i transfer over 4gb all the time with DBI.

also you so not need to explain variables to me for formats , i am completly aware of how it works

Thats not quite true. It doesn't support the transfer of files larger than 4gb but you can store games larger than 4gb. Using a protocol which transfers the file via packages is circumventing the transfer limit or you can split an disc image, transfer it and put it back together afterward
 
duckstation gives me this error on startup with every game since I turned on retroachivements.
