In a bill that has passed the Tennessee house, new restrictions are set in place. If signed by the governor, this new law would ban public drag shows and hormone therapy for minors.

Drag shows would be restricted to those 18+ and would be required to be performed in doors, where children could not see them. Further the law would bar providers from providing hormone therapy and sexual reassignment surgery to those under 18.

Initial infractions could incur a $2500 fine and jail time not to exceed one year, subsequent offenses would constitute a felony with a maximum penalty of six years in prison.

The bill bans "adult cabaret performances" outside of adult-oriented businesses, but the definition of "adult cabaret performances" is intentionally left vague.
The bill mentions "entertainment that appeals to a prurient interest" but "prurient" is left open to interpretation, and considering that in some places it includes "showing ankles" and "not wearing a head covering" this is less a legal definition and more of a carte blanche for the district attorney.

In parting, I leave you with Tom Lehrer.

Wish I could say I didn't see it coming. But no, this is historically what happens with far right parties.

They create mass hysteria over a group small group of people. They start off small (remember this initially stated with bathroom arguments)
They then attach it to some larger issue unrelated to that group of people. (In this case, attaching it to pedophiles and doing everything they can to make trans people being represented at all supposedly sexual.)
They then attach it to multiple conspiracy theories (that the left is out to reprogram your kids or make them woke for acknowledging trans people exist.)
And it grows, and grows.
Until finally the far right commentators push it so hard, that the people that trust them, decide to act in violence. And the laws begin to suppress that group of people until they are no longer publicly seen. Through law or through violence.

Gender affirming care is medically necessary for these people. End of discussion.

Ok, let me solve the whole problem

I affirm that whatever they think, is wrong, and that just because they want to larp, doesnt make it true, and pushing that on kids is objectively wrong. end of discussion.

Great. One problem,
medically necessary
https://fenwayhealth.org/new-study-...-psychological-distress-or-suicidal-ideation/

So I don't care what you think, because what you think is imperially incorrect and actually objectively wrong. Unlike how you just threw it out.
"Objectively: in a way that is not influenced by personal feelings or opinions."

And you believe it's pushing on kids. It's not. Saying "yes trans people do infact, exist." is not pushing on kids. Trans people and Gay people are part of society. Pretending that they don't is stupid.

what does it mean for something to be "imperially" correct?

Scientific consensus, at this point there's more than enough reasonable proof that it helps. Additionally, last time you said that there wasn't enough information on the matter. Problem is, both hormone therapy and puberty blockers have been used in other, but similar cases.

Take hormone therapy for example. Before trans people were in the public eye, or acknowledged. It was previously used to help people who's hormones were out of wack. Women developing say, a beard for example. Or men with women hair, or developing breasts.
This is a problem, since it is known to create a level of distress. Having features that your not exactly supposed to have.

Puberty blockers were used for people that started puberty too early, which would have health issues later down the line.

It's not expensive in the slightest. No like actually. With insurance, it's 30 dollars a month.
In the UK, it's £9.35, or 11usd.
I don't think the doctor is going to get signifcant kickbacks, and did we also already have someone who previously worked in the medical field say that they don't get large kick backs unless it's like antibiotics or something?
Do you have a source for it not being pushed on kids?
And your source that it's being pushed on kids is generally dubious at best. Given that you linked Steven Crowder to me, of all people. Your not exactly the type to get actual information.

See this is the problem, is that you lie, to try to make yourself look better, when in reality you know your lying. I linked you to his website where you could then go and find the information OUTSIDE of his site for yourself. You take the bidenist tactic of lie out your teeth and say " the source is him therefore invalid" without being able to prove he is wrong for one and that he is at least peer reviewed and you arent, and that again you are even lying about the main topic, and i can prove it.

since I never explained why I distrust crowder.
I will give one example (more like several throughout one, but that's if you choose to watch the whole video)

(time stamp is 12:48 incase the link doesn't work with the timestamp)
watch from there until, 15:00
Basically crowder claims to use the sources, takes them way out of context, or just ignores parts of the source outright that disproves him. Even the "It's from NASA" line, later the same "NASA" guy who wrote the paper, says it's not conclusive evidence and shouldn't be taken as such.
And crowder does this with everything
Pretty much every topic is thinly veiled bullshit

see this is the problem, you know and i both know whats going on behind the scenes here with you, which is fine, you are still TRYING to lie and claim its crowder saying it, show me the source, and then show me a source saying " What steven said is wrong" because otherwise, he has published research and you dont, making him more reliable, also dont be a weasle which i know you like to do, you know what im going to use to officially destory your argument, either admit you are scared or move on.

Crowder said it in a video, he creates article's on his own website, linking his own video while making a written version. So no, I'm not lying about it or to you.

this is really weird because, i know you are an adult, we've spoken, but its comments like this that make me wonder if you are just a toddler with a deep voice. I dont know what " creates articles" on his website means, you mean posts? yea its website he can do that, christ forbid he link to a video he works hard on to make and has a written version, but you pulled a crowder where it says in giant letters " REFERENCES" where, ohh look at that, actual information. Look, i really thought you were gone from here because all you do is embarrass yourself, please, for your own sake, its time to retire, because this topic is foolish and i can prove it, and you know i can wich is why you avoid it.
